After giving Daniel a painkiller, he fell asleep on Allan’s lap since Allan didn't dare to move him away right after the surgery. He was afraid that Daniel might wake up. Nowa, Bella and Amber are blocking the entrance with the broken furniture that they saw inside the store on top of this building.

“I’ll light a fire tonight. It’s gonna get cold,” Mike said.

Nowa nodded. She feels bad about Mike. He’s not intended to do it after all. It’s a free bullet that he didn’t realize by himself. After checking his firearm, the trigger guard seems to slide while he’s using the firearm to block the creature away.

“It’s okay. He’s fine now,” Nowa said.

Bella is also trying to put his mind at ease while Amber is preparing food for them.

“I might get killed by Allan,” Mike said.

“Nah, he won’t,” Nowa said.

“He’s not on good terms with me ever since what happened to Maya.”

“You’re Daniel’s best friend. He won’t touch you.”

Amber gives them something to eat. She also hands something to Allan for him to eat since Daniel is still sleeping on his lap. Amber manages to check his temperature.

“He got a fever. Hope he can hold on,” Amber said.

“He needs to,” Allan replied.

“I guess so.”

The next day, they woke up to the sound of huge vehicles roaming this area.

“Wake up!”, Nowa said.

Daniel also wakes up after hearing Nowa’s voice. Allan checked him up before going to see the vehicles. He still seems to be in pain but better than yesterday.

“Who are they?”, Amber asked while peeping under the building.

A few armoured cars have been parked. One person got out of the car, looking up at them.

“Military?”, Bella asked.

“I think they’re really from the military,” Amber replied.

“Do they want to save us?”

Bang Bang Bang!!!

Something knocking on the entrance. Daniel and Allan move the blocking and someone walks in. He wore a military uniform.

“We saw the fire that you made last night,” he said.

“Did you come here to save us?”, Nowa asked.

“Yes, I’m Joseph. A soldier from the safe camp here. Please, follow us.”

They sigh, full of relief. They don't have to face the danger just to find a safe camp. Enough is enough. They’re safe now at least. They exit the mall and enter the car before they move to the safe camp.

“For how long have you been outside here?”, Joseph asked.

“Three days. We were supposed to be at the Putrajaya safe camp before an attack happened,” Nowa explained.

“How do you manage to survive?”

“By running, shooting and something like stealing food from the supermarket if you still take care of crime cases,” Amber said.

“So, where do you get your firearm?”

“Amber’s father owns a shop. We just take it from there,” Nowa explained.
