“Where’s Nowa?”, Sofea asked.
They’re about to have their dinner before noticing that Nowa is not with them.
“Let me go to check on her at the tent,” Amber said.
“Okay.”
Amber went to check Nowa inside the tent but came back empty-handed. Her face looks worried and confused.
“Why? Where’s Nowa?”, Daus asked.
“She’s not in there.”
“What? Where is she going?”, Karn asked.
“Honestly, I also don’t know. She’s been inside the tent for a whole day. That’s why I don’t bother to check her out. But now, she’s not there.”
“Did she tell you anything about going anywhere?”, Radz asked.
“She didn’t.”
Wargh!!! Argh!!! Hargh!!!
They turned their head to the isolation camp as soon as they heard the screams.
“Nowa?!”
That’s what they could think of before heading to the isolation camp. From afar, they could see Nowa sitting on the ground, right in front of the cage. They immediately rushed to get her.
“Nowa, what happened?”, Amber asked before turning her head to Bella.
“Where’s… Bella?”, Daniel asked.
The cage’s door is all ruined. They believe Bella ran away from it.
“How?”, Karn asked.
“Nowa, did you do anything to her?!”, Admiral Mika asked.
As soon as he heard the screams, he headed out from the main tent, along with Professor William. Nowa just keeps it silent, making everyone believe that she did something. And it’s so bad. Nowa then stood up on her foot before leaving the isolation camp.
“What’s happening?”, Admiral Mika asked the rest of them.
“We also don’t know. We just got here, a few minutes before you get out of the tent,” Karn said.
“Whatever it is, we just lost Bella. An important subject for us to test the antidote,” Professor William said.
“Subject? She’s not a subject,” Daniel said.
“But she’s important for us and we didn’t know how to test the antidote,” he replied.
“And did you already finish the antidote?”, Daus asked.
“75%.”
They left the isolation camp, feeling confused about what happened between Nowa and Bella.
“Daniel, I want you to ask Nowa about it,” Karn said.
“Sure.”
Daniel saw Nowa sitting alone at the mini park. Her face showed everything about what she feels right now about it.
“Nono?”, Daniel calls her name.
But, she just ignored him. Daniel sat next to her. He held her hand tight. He’s known Nowa the longest, after Bella. He knows much about her. Enough to tell what she feels right now.
“You don't seem to be that sad,” Daniel said.
“Hmm.”
“You did something, didn't you?”, he asked.
