Zelda's POV.
Link wasn't sleeping when I woke up. Well, he wasn't in bed neither, as I only feel his pillow under my cheek while I was looking for his chest.
« Link ? »
But no one answered, so I turned on the light and walked towards the large bay windows, letting the light of the morning bath my room. Then, I walked to the bathroom, hoping I could find him here.
« Link ? », I asked, knocking on the door.
But, once again, no one answer. And I didn't hear the water running in the shower neither.
Where are you ?
I was about to open the door when he finally came back. Sweaty, wearing his sportswear and looking tired. But his tired face got brighter when his eyes landed on me.
« Hey Princess ! You're awake ? », he asked me before he took my chin in his hand and quickly kissed me.
« Hey ! Yes. », I kissed him back. « Did you train ? »
« Well, yes... », he said, scratching the back of his head. « I wasn't sleeping so I thought it would've great for me to train a bit more. »
« Is it because of me ? Because of my nightmare ? »
« What ? Oh no. No, no, no Princess, it's not your fault. », he said with a smile. « I wasn't tired at all so... »
« Oh. Alright. », I smiled. « Did you have a good training ? »
« Yes, but it wasn't really fancy. I walked on the treadmill and lifted weights. », he shrugged. « But Midna told me we would train harder today so I wanted to warm up a bit. »
« I'm glad she's you physio. She seems to be very professional. »
« Yeah she's super cool. », he chuckled.
What ? Cool ? Really ?
« I mean, she push me a bit but she's always cheering me up. And we laugh a lot together so that's pretty nice. », he smiled.
« And she's pretty too ? »
I asked it before I could even think of it. And I immediately regretted it.
« Zel... », he sighed.
« I'm sorry. That was inappropriate. », I shook my head.
But, instead of being mad, he smiled at me and bursted into laughter.
« Zel, are you... », he started, cry-laughing. « Are you really... Holy shit ! Are you really jealous of my physio ? »
My face turned into a deeper shade of red.
« What ? No ! »
« Zel... », he teased me. « Oh my Princess, I love you. »
He held me in his arms and kissed my forehead, my cheeks, my nose, my lips over and over. Every inch of skin was covered by a kiss and I couldn't stop laughing like a fool.
« Link ! Stop ! », I pouted.
« You're adorable ! My little, cute and jealous Princess. »
« Quiet. », I said, but he kept kissing me. « Link ! »
He looked at me tenderly before he place his lips on mine. A soft kiss, a tender kiss. Nothing more than his love and affection for me, silently telling me I was the only one in his life.
