« Good morning, my Princess. », a soft voice said in my ear.

I groaned a bit, feeling drained after everything that happened last night, but I smiled, nevertheless.

Being home was magical. He was magical.

We stayed a bit in bed together last night, chatting, laughing and admiring the breathtaking view of our bay window, especially when the sun had finally set, the stars were shining bright and the splending Castle was fully illuminated. I remembered how his fingertips were lazily brushing my arms, how his lips were softly kissing my cheeks and how safe I felt with him while we were chatting about everything and anything.

Until my stomach growled and motivated us to cook our dinner.

So, after Link joked about how hungry I was even though I ate him entirely - that made me blush a lot, of course - I left him in our bed while I was taking a quick shower, and filled two glasses with white wine and a bowl with chips when he was the one who was under the hot water. But, he didn't last long, and I just had enough time to prepare our little aperitif and turn 'Attack on Titan' on when he joined me in the living room and led me to the kitchen to make dinner together.

I was touched to see that he bought the groceries and cleaned the house before we came back here, and when I asked him when he did all of this, he simply said that he didn't train in the morning, but made sure everything would be perfect before we came into our house.

I really don't deserve you.

We chopped vegetables, we made pizza dough and grated cheese together, laughing like two fools, especially when I accidentally put tomato sauce on my cheek and he found it smart and wise to just... lick it. But, as revenge, I took a full hand of flour and threw it to his face, starting the biggest war ever.

Link looked so funny with his face covered with floor, only his blue eyes added color on it, as his evil grin that showed his perfect teeth was as white as the rest of his face. A white face that came too close to me, and mischievously spread the flour on mine.

Of course I screamed, I laughed, and we kissed over and over. No matter how dirty we were right after, our laughs and happiness were worth it.

A happiness that didn't fade a second. Nor when we were cleaning our faces full of flour, sauce, and pieces of cheese and mushrooms. Nor when we were chilling on the couch, sipping wine and watching our anime while our pizza was cooking in the oven. Nor when we were finally eating it, and even if it was perfectly tasty, we couldn't help joking about how the other one we made on our faces would be even better.

So, as soon as our stomachs were full and our cheeks were bruning, we left the living-room and went back to our bedroom. We spent a few minutes chatting together before we finally turned the lights off and fell asleep together, my head laying on his chest while his strong arms were holding me tight.

And, for the first time in weeks, I hadn't had any nightmares.

« Hello you. », he giggled, his hair tickling my face.

I opened my eyes and it took me a few seconds to recognize where I was.

At home.

I was still wrapped in the dark blue and gold sheets of our king-size bed - that was not as comfortable as the one at the Mansion, but absolutely perfect to my eyes - but our room was bathed with light. I rubbed my eyes and looked through the bay window, hoping I could see Hyrule's land under the shy sun rays of the morning. But, to my surprise, it was raining today, and except for a gray sky and raindrops on the glass, I couldn't see anything.
