Link's POV.
« Revali ! »
The house was dark and the air was heavy. Only the stroboscopic lights allowed me to barely see a thing, and I could tell that now, all the partiers looked the same in the dark.
I was drunk, just like everyone here, so finding the stupid boy who couldn't handle his girlfriend's shyness made it even harder. The smoke of tobacco and weed in the air created a big cloud on the ceiling and in my mind too.
Everything seemed unreal here, as if my brain was working too slowly compared to the many things that were happening before my eyes. When a guy pushed me because I was too close to his girlfriend, when many girls fell in my arms on purpose - because as soon as Zel wasn't around me, I was single to their eyes -, when a group of friends started acting way too friendly with me and were saying shit about everything here, or when some of them wanted to defy the Hylian Champion on an arm wrestling, and roasting me for 'being a puss', right after I told them to fuck off.
Fuck you all. Zel mustn't stay alone for too long and you're avoiding me to find the stupid rito I'm looking for.
« Revali ! », I screamed again.
But, just like the fifteen last times, the king of the idiots didn't answer.
Where the fuck is that jerk ?!
« Revali !! »
I rushed in on a girl who was dancing and her beer ended on my feet.
Fuck !
« Oh ! Sorry ! », the blondie giggled.
« Don't worry. », I hastily said, already over it and walking away from her.
The only thing that worries me is the shitty rito who's supposed to be my brother here.
« But... eh ! You're Link Farore ! », she exclaimed, overexcited.
Shit.
« Holy shit I'm so happy to finally meet you ! », she said, jumping in my arms.
I gently pushed her away, a bit uncomfortable when people acted like that towards me, but I understood why they were a bit... tactile when they saw me. For many of them I was a superstar so they felt honored when I was around them and they couldn't help but be way too friendly - if not intimate - with me.
« Can we take a picture ? », she asked, taking her phone and calling her friends at the same time.
Oh, yeah. What a great picture you'll have...
Three other girls joined us and, of course, they all jumped in my arms visibly delighted to see me without my girlfriend.
« Do you know where's Sorelia ? », the first one asked, taking her phone and smiling at the camera.
Sorelia ?!
« Last time I saw her she was with Revali. », the second rolled her eyes.
« Wait, where were they ? », I hastily asked.
« In the garden, they were chatting. I bet she wants to put him in one of the beds here ! », she laughed. « Seriously, it's been months since he ghosted her, she should get over him. »
« She would never. 'Oh Revali is sooooo smart', 'Revali is soooo handsome', 'Revali is soooo a good-lay' », the third one exclaimed, cry-laughing, while I didn't want to hear such things. « And now he is back. »
