—Valley POV—

Toby smiled as Dian declared they'd try their best.
"That's the spirit!" Toby cheered.

Stephen had wounds all over, which I didn't feel sorry about, but mostly I was glad that Dian had confidence of surviving!

That evening we all went to a soccer field behind the school. How on earth hadn't I noticed— I realised just how much I had my nose in my books. We went there and Dian went to prepare. I hated leaving him, so we parted with a tight hug.
I sat next to Toby on the stands. He was very excited and I chanted Dian's name with him.
The soccer field was big, but as quiet came, Masky announced that the boss would say a quick few words.

The silent crowd suddenly broke into whispers, but I tilted my head. Who was 'the boss'?

Toby smiled at me. "Your curiosity is way too visible."

I froze up. "Sorry—"

"It's a compliment," Toby shrugged, "It looks good on you."

Whoa a compliment. From a murderer.

When a tall twig like entity appeared in the middle of the field, the crowd went silent.
The white face was void off any features while a tie hung around its neck neatly.

My lips parted in a silent whoa.
The suit matched the uniforms— No the other way around, it seemed like the uiforms were made to look like the suit.

Toby chuckled at my amazement while the crowd seemed to either freak out or to clap awkwardly.

Suddenly static went through everyone's heads and I clenched mine at the discomfort of it.

"Hello, children." A voice rung through my head.

Toby continued to smile so I let go off my head, the ache and ringing disappearing with it.

"I am sure you are excited to see who wins, first I was asked to introduce myself. I am Slenderman. There is people who might have heard of me. If you manage to graduate, you will become one of my Creepypastas.
"Remember, step in with the fight, and face the consequences." With the slight noise of static, Slenderman had disappeared.

"Whoa," I said out loud now.

Toby nodded. "He felt the need to repeat that last part, that's certainly worth a whoa."

Glancing at Toby I frowned. "How do you mean?"

Toby chuckled. "Slender thinks someone will step in. I'm curious to see who it will be." He then shrugged. "Or it's a future warning, I dunno."

The glint in Toby's eyes didn't have me ask more questions. Instead I looked out over the field.

When Dian and Flower stepped onto the field, I was surprised to see Dian holding a dagger, and Flower holding an axe. I pressed my lips together at seeing flower. She was bulky, very strong looking. Her sneer wasn't promising a good peaceful fight, it spoke murder.

I anxiously looked as Dian prepared to start fighting.

"Fight!"

Sitting in the crowd, I stared down as the two circled each other. Dian seemed hesitant to fight. Flower on the other hand, suddenly stopped with a steady foot on the grass. With a strong kick she pushed Dian back. They stepped back and clutched her leg, using the dagger to stab it. I flinched as a small cheer went through the crowd. There weren't actually people who were enjoying this, right?

"Look!" Toby said excitedly as Flower stood clutching her leg in pain. Dian was weaponless, their dagger stuck in her leg.

"It doesn't look good," I mumbled anxiously as Flower still held the axe. It was scary, I didn't even know we had ridiculous axes.
