Charley looked at Valley in confusion. The sun burned through a window, lighting the room.
"What do you mean? Kill Stephen?"

"He's a—"

"We know he's a dickhead." Anthony rolled his eyes.
They sat in the dormitory of Jeff's. This one, by now, was way messier and more run down than the one Valley used. She liked the mess though, it gave the room a story to tell.

"You're a dickhead," Valley said bossily before she turned to Charley, "I just thought people would be busy with the ball, so we'd have all the opportunity to catch him off guard."

Charley bounced his leg up and down.
"I'm just saying, we'll have enough to worry about going at the ball ourselves. Who's to say we don't get caught off guard?"

Valley nodded thoughtfully and Anthony send them both some looks.
"What do you know that I don't?" Anthony asked suddenly.

"Nothing," Valley lied smoothly, and Charley looked at the ground sharply. Something gave it away and both disliked it.

"Nothing." Anthony had his eyes on Charley who could feel them burn. Did the room seem to get warmer? Charley didn't know how to act, what to do with his hands.
"Why do I have a feeling that you're lying?"

Valley smiled suddenly, "Cause you know your boyfriend?"

Now Anthony was looking away, a blush on his face.
"What?"

As Valley started laughing, Charley slowly started to get a connection between recent events. His brain seemed to be on a roll as he slowly looked up.
"Hold up..."

"What?" Anthony asked as Valley only laughed harder, having to lean against the wall for suport.

Someone suddenly walked in and Valley tried to stop laughing once more. Charley sat looking as though his world was upside down as Anthony crossed his arms at them.

"The fuck are you guys laughing about?" Jeff asked as he walked to his stuff.

"Nothing," Anthony said, and Valley send Charley a teasing smile as he tried to hide his red face in his hands.
She was enjoying seeing Charley suffer.

"Well," Jeff plopped down on his bed, "Do so more quietly, I'm tired."

"Sure," Valley said as she got up and walked to the door, "Though, Jeff, do you agree with me?"

Charley shook his head but Jeff curiously looked up, his eyes as unblinking as always.

"About them having crushes on each other and being oblivious about it—"

"What?" Anthony said with a sharply forced surprise in his voice. Charley wanted to die as he remained hidden behind his hands. If he could he'd use a knife to strike himself down but knew by now how much it'd hurt so he didn't.

"Obviously," Jeff grinned, going along with it, "I'm enjoying their awkwardness though, it's fun to watch them."

Valley's grin widened. "I just wonder when the ship will sail..."

Anthony, his face burning red, got up and pushed Valley out of the door. "Shut up already!" He hissed and closed the door behind Valley, making sure she couldn't see more of that stuff.

As Anthony returned in the room, Charley found his leg bouncing up and down in anxiety. His face was still burning and he knew there was no getting out of it. Not anymore. He liked Anthony, yes, but no way did Anthony like him back. Of course Charley's tactic had been to push his feelings away, but now it seemed impossible. When he looked up slightly, Anthony's brown eyes flamed them anew.

Charley decided he was facing the worst thing ever; Love.

Toby was eager to train Valley more after the recent... thing that happened.
While they discussed outfits for the bal, Valley and he ran a few laps around the large castle. The talking filled the boredom Toby obviously had trouble fighting off.
Then Valley told Toby about her lack of dresses, and Toby told her to simply wear anything else.

"That's my point," Valley said annoyed, "I don't have anything else. No dress, no suit, no nothing."

Toby didn't slow running as he took a moment to think. Valley though, slowed down as she got tired.
Puffing, she tried not to sit down and give up.

"Maybe you can borrow something," Toby thought, "But... I don't think I've got a dress."

"Toby," Valley said with a serious face, "That's the worst thing you've ever told me, shame on you."

Toby slowed down, send her the birds and then called for her to keep on running.

As Valley did so, she couldn't help but to grin. Somehow she was friends with Toby, kinda.
It was odd, very odd. But nice in a strange sense.

Sure Valley was conflicted, but Toby had been there for Dian, he had been there for her and he has never actually hurt her... so that's no red flags haha...
Even though Valley knew it was wrong she just needed someone a friend who won't die the next day. She knew it was wrong, but she found a good friend in a serial killer.

Charley was rather conflicted. Sure he thought the plan bullet proof, but still. Valley was a master brain person, he had to admit, but he himself couldn't help but to point out the 'plot holes' as he'd call it.

He was sure a pasta or Proxie would be able to see through their plan— maybe they were already having their eyes on them for going through the door?

"What're you worrying about?" Anthony said as he tried to tie his tie in front of the mirror. His hair was swept to one side, his suit fitting him nicely. Himself, Charley was wearing a blouse, unable to find much better to wear. He feared he'd be under dressed, but Anthony had borrowed him a jacket that would have him pass the dress code.

"Nothing much," Charley mumbled as he crossed his arms, "Just the entire thing."

The room was empty safe for them. The others were at the party already, or finishing up their training before they'd get caught away from the party. They had to hurry as well, but Charley wanted to talk over the plan while they still were in privet.

Anthony looked away from himself in the mirror, his tie uncomfortable as he adjusted it a bit. "Valley is smart, I'll admit it this once. If she puts her mind to something she often succeeds... so don't worry— and don't tell her I said all that."

Charles smiled at the dislike the two seemed to have for each other. He couldn't explain it, but the two just... didn't like each other, or something. As Charley grabbed the tie Anthony had thrown at him earlier he pushed Anthony away from the mirror and did his own tie.

It would be fine, right?
Nothing could go wrong.

Not a simple thing.

Charley put a knife in his pocket, just to be sure.
