The war had concluded, it was all over. That is what everyone thought but Alastor knew it wasn't. No not at all... it was worse.
He sat alone in his room which depicted a forest. It usually helped him gain his composure, however, right now all he could feel was fear. He knew that once Eve lost faith in him... she could take everything away. He couldn't let that happen.
He clenched his jaw, his smile somewhat forced, he surveyed his body in the cracked mirror placed against a tree. The scars were still present on his body from his prior loss to Adam. They served as a warning, if he lost again she would end him.
It would all be over.
He dragged himself out of his thoughts, clothed himself, picked up some leftover deer from last night and put a large piece of its body on the table. Breakfast is served! He drooled over its body as he ate the deer carcass with proper etiquette. Once he was done he summoned Niffty.
"Greetings, my helpful little maid! Be a dear and please clear up all this mess for me. I must get ready to go on one of my walks today~" Alastor smiled down at Niffty.
"Ooooh sure thing, sir! I love cleaning! hehe~" She immediately began to scrub the blood off the table.
"Farewell for now Niffty," Alastor says as he walks off excited for his morning stroll. He would do anything to get his mind off of his current predicament.
*meanwhile*
Valentino paced Vox's room, muttering to himself while Vox watched him from a corner anticipating something being thrown at him any second. He was used to Valentino's tantrums, however, they still ruined his entire week.
"So uh... what happened?" Vox stared at his business partner incredulously.
"IT WAS THAT FUCKING FUCK FUCK WHORE~" Valentino took a long drag from his cigarette to calm himself down.
Vox tried not to breathe in the smoke as he replied, "lemme guess, Angel dust?"
"Yes yes! Who else would it be~" Valentino suddenly stood before Vox and grabbed his shoulders, pushing him up against a wall, "He isn't turning up to his meetings as much anymore~"
Vox holds his breath, refusing to breathe in any of Valentino's hypnotizing smoke as he does a quick surf of the internet.
"Have you not checked his Voxtagram? He's helping rebuild the hotel." Vox was tired of Valentino's unhealthy obsession with Angel dust, but he didn't say anything because he didn't want to replace his screen again.
"Yes, I know that~"
"Then why don't you just go and get him? You literally own him?"
"Well, I could but~" Val let go of him and turned away.
"But what?" Vox raises an eyebrow, he wasn't used to Val being so hesitant about something like this.
"You see... Lucifers there and I really don't want to get on his bad side~"
"Heh, you afraid he'll kick your ass?" Vox smirked, but before he could start laughing he felt a pair of handcuffs colliding with his screen causing him to fall over in surprise.
"Fuck Val... I wasn't ready to dodge that one." he turned to look in the mirror and saw a small crack in the corner of his screen because of the metal chain attached to the cuffs.
"You're one to talk about being a pussy~ You do know your radio demon is there too~" Valentino rolls his eyes, taking a final drag of his cigarette before filing his nails.
"Well actually, I plan on finding him tonight. " Vox brags while standing back on his feet.
Valentino smirks as he bends down and pinches his cheek, "Ohh Voxxy~ We both know you're not gonna do that to your bestie~ Last time he almost-" he felt his hand getting slapped away as Vox cut him off.
