Tyrone's POV: (Some sensitive/sad parts)
I had walked to the park to get some ice cream and to take my mind off the stress of my parents fighting all the time. And, I'm not kidding when I say all the time. There is never a single week, day, or even hour that I will hear peace and quiet! It's even caused my older sister to move out and leave me with...them. Don't get me wrong, I love them. But sometimes it's like I have to take care of them, and I'm only 17! I'll have to drive my dad back from the bar, just to get hit later with a whiskey bottle. And it's even worse with my mom. If I try to talk with her, she just...ignores me. She calls me a disappointment. And says she wishes I was never born.
Now, you're probably wondering...how is that worse than being hit? Well, I think it is, at least. I've always been obsessed with pleasing my parents. And her saying that...just...never helps. You get the point. The good thing is, I finally got away from them for a little and even got myself a treat! I sat down on a cold, wooden bench. I looked around and admired my surroundings. The sun was shining proudly in the sky, and different colors of birds played together in the sky, singing a sweet tone, just like honey and chocolate. People threw Frisbee's to their dogs, which stumbled to go get it, adults pushed their children on the swings and slides. It was a wonderful day! But there was this dude that kind of...made me feel unsafe. Scared, even. Near the smoking area was a tall, skinny man with black skinny jeans and a black hoodie. His ruby red eyes shimmered with mischief, as if he was planning something. Something...bad. For a split second, our eyes met. His cat-like pupils seemed to contract as the corner of his lips started to rise, giving off an evil smirk, that made the whole park fill with an eerie aurora. I wanted to move away. To run and hide, and even go back to my mother and father. But I just couldn't pull away. From his...beautiful eyes.
My world started to collapse there. Everything felt blurry, uneasy. My eyes started to fill with what looked like...black mist? For some reason, everybody started to fade out. And the sky was as black as midnight. The stars turned the same color as blood, and started to form demonic eyes that looked down at me and laughed in pity. The man was now in front of me. Glaring down at me. "M...Mom..." I managed to mutter out. Although they obviously couldn't hear me, I just wanted some comfort. My eyes peeked up a little more. The man's grin had gotten wider, and now he had some glowing red triangle with one eye floating behind him. His sharp hand caressed my chin, cutting it slightly. His cold breath blew against my ear, which somehow made me more lightheaded. All I heard was "mine..." before passing out in his arms.
I woke up...somewhere. Somewhere...not evil? That's quite the surprise. There was something heavy around my ankle, a chain. But not an ordinary one. One made out of red vapor. My vision started to kick back in. I was in a room with walls that matched perfectly with the colors of s'mores. The bed I was sitting on was perfectly normal, too! It had velvet sheets with pillows that only royalty would ever have. My clothes had also been changed. A nice new pair of shorts and an over-sized red and black sweater. But there was a collar around my neck. One that looks like a house pet might wear...that said...Kill's property.
I'm gonna leave ya'll on a cliff hanger because I'm mean >:) Please leave suggestions!
