Tyrone's POV:
Today was the election. Today was the day that I'd be forced to pick my new boyfriend. Sadly, I had the feeling that he wasn't going to be there. That I would end up being forced to date and marry somebody I didn't even love.
I sighed and looked up at the golden tinted ceiling. There has to be somebody that will fit my standards! Just...somebody...who is at least a little bit lovable.
Kill's POV:
My family assigned me to go downtown to get a cake, and other food for my brother's birthday party. Coincidentally, Will's birthday and the election are on the same day, so I just decided that I would watch the election while picking up everything that was needed for the party.
Even though there was a 0.1% he would pick me, I still wanted to see it. I mean, what's the harm in that?
~Time skip, seeing the election~
The crowd was loud and cheerful, and the sky was filled with tiny bits of different color confetti and big, round balloons. But most importantly, Prince Tyrone and his sister started to come into view on their beautiful golden carriage. The crowd got louder and roared in excitement as the princess and prince waved and made sure to give everybody a little glance. Even me. All of the men that were competing started to line up. Some okay, some...less okay.
The carriage came to a stop in front of the men. Both the prince and princess gave each other small looks, they probably expected some better looking boys. I smiled softly, admiring how cute Tyrone was in his little green dress. The king stood up, and waved his hands in the air. "Let the election begin!" He shouted, making the crowd jump up and down.
The election was going well so far, Mabel had already chosen her boyfriend, but the prince was still deciding. I started to get up and walk away, when some adult bumped into me, making me fall in front of the carriage. Townsfolk gasped, and the guards started to stand up, but suddenly stopped. I looked up to see the prince was pointing...at me. "Him." Tyrone said quietly. "I want him."
Tyrone's POV:
Mabel pulled me close and whispered in my ear softly. "He's just a peasant!" She looked at me with a hardening glare. I smiled at her and looked back at the mysterious boy. "There's just...something about him. Something special." I got up and helped the boy up. "What is your name?" He looked away, a soft blush spreading across his face and ears. "K-Killian. But...everybody calls me Kill." I gently grabbed his hands in mine. "Well, Kill. I choose you."
Hey guys! Sorry if this is bad, I'm sick with something and don't have much energy. I might make a part three, maybe of the marriage or something. Thanks for reading!
