Mason's POV:

Will's eyes looked up into mine, causing me to blush and look away. "Go to sleep, it's getting late anyway." I muttered. Will nodded, resting his cheek on my chest. Slowly, soft snores started to fill the air. "Will, if I don't speak to you tomorrow, please don't be sad...I have to keep my reputation." I whispered in his ear, hoping that maybe he could hear me. I pulled him closer to my chest, gently rubbing his back through his shirt. I hate to hurt his feelings, but I can't be seen with the gay boy. I'm the rich popular boy that pulls girls and plays sports.

The next day, Will and I got ready together. We had pleasant talks about the things we like, or our favorite hobbies. Turns out, Will really likes track and running, and he's pretty fast too.

Soon enough, there was a knock on our door to start heading downstairs to breakfast.

Once I stepped down, I was met with my small group of "friends." Jake, the oldest in our group, kept teasing me about sleeping with Will. "Let me guess, he kept you up all night because he could stop sobbing?" Jake said in a mocking tone, rubbing his eyes as if he was crying. I wanted to push him away, or tell him to stop at least, but I didn't want them to start getting suspicious. "Mhm, yeah..." I sighed. Jake was about to say something, but shortly stopped after Will came down and sat right down next to me.

"Hey, Mason!" He said in a cheerful tone. Great, this is just what I needed...I thought to myself, while leaning closer to Will. "Look, I can't talk to you. Just, go away!" I whispered, but it was too late for that. Jake had already stood up and dragged Will to the center of the cafeteria. "Look, little gay boy has a crush on Mason!" He said. The whole hotel's cafeteria erupted into laughter. Will looked at me with a terrified expression. "M-Mason said that he was my friend, right?" Will whispered, making everybody stare at me. I looked down at Will, who was begging me to say we were. I sighed and looked back up at everybody else. "I barely know him. He's just my roommate for a week."
