Dipper's POV:

Stan was yelling at me again. Mabel was trying to stand up for me and give me a chance to explain myself, but Stan wouldn't let her. "I can't believe you'd date Bill! God, I knew you were dumb, but not this stupid!" He yelled, raising his hand. It landed hard on my cheek, shoving me into the wall behind me. Mabel gasped and looked up at Stan with a terrified expression. I looked around at Ford, Soos and Wendy, hoping that maybe they'd stop him. But they looked down at me with the same disappointed face. Bill pulled me into his arms. "Aren't you supposed to support your great nephew? You know, love him no matter what?" He yelled back, holding me tight.

Love. The word echoed through my mind. The last time any of my family said they loved me was about 2 years ago, before I came out as gay. That's when my parents disowned me, and I had to come live here, which made my life more of a hellhole. I was only fourteen when they sent me back to Gravity Falls. Ever since everybody found out I was gay, nobody has looked at me the same. Not even Mabel. The only reason she's here right now is because she comes every summer. And even then, I'm not allowed to see her. I'm just supposed to stay in my room whenever she's here. Thankfully, sometimes she'll sneak up and spend the night with me. Mabel and Bill are probably the only things that have kept me alive.

As I slowly zoned back to reality, I realized Bill had the same bruise on his cheek I had. Stan had hit Bill, and yet he kept yelling and fighting for me. "You know what Stan, I've had enough! I'm so tired of trying to please you. Tired of the abuse you put me through everyday. And if you're going to hurt the person I love, then I'm done with you. You can do your own shit now, because I'm leaving this house, this life. Goodbye." I sighed, grabbing Bill's hand and leading him out. I looked back, seeing Mabel's scared and sorry expression. "And if I hear from Mabel that you've been putting her through the same shit that I had to go through, then I will press charges. I know a good lawyer."
