Will's POV:
It's been three days since I was kicked out of the house by my parents. I'm only sixteen, yet treading through the snow in the middle of the night, trying to find a place to stay. Unfortunately for me, there were nothing but trees and bushes for miles. I sat down by a large rock, hugging my knees tightly. I'm lost, scared, and hungry, and I don't know if I'll even last the night.
I'd lost all hope, until I saw a small shining light in the distance. That light could lead to a home, I thought to myself. A home means a person that can help me! I stood back up, following this light. Every step I took, creatures of all sorts seemed to squeak and growl, scurrying away. "J...Just a couple more miles, William. Soon you'll be somewhere safe."
After what felt like years of following the bright light, I arrived at a huge, old castle. Like the ones in the medieval times. Signs were all over the gate that read, 'Beware!' Or, 'Monster!' "M-Monster?" I whispered, tracing my fingers against the chipped red paint. "Monsters don't exist...They're just a made up story to scare kids." I chuckled, pushing open the gate. The gate let out a loud and horrible creak, that sounded just like nails on a chalkboard. The garden was dead and sad, flower petals scattered all over the path. I looked up at the castle one last time, before pushing open the castle entrance.
Cobwebs were on every corner of the room. The shelves and books were decorated with dust. "Who goes there?" A deep voice called out. I looked up, only to see a tall figure right next to me, He had evil red eyes and sharp fangs that could easily pierce through skin. He slowly started to creep closer, his cold fingers running down my back, and onto my hip. "It appears somebody didn't read the signs. I thought they were quite noticeable." He said, placing a finger under my chin and tilting my head up. He stared down at my neck, licking his lips and fangs as he did so.
"Shame I have to do this. I think you're pretty cute." He bit down softly, licking the skin beneath. "W...Wait!" I gasped, pushing his head away. His eyes glared into mine. "Speak. What do you desire before you die?" He said in a rough tone while pressing his mouth against my ear. "I...I'll stay here, with you. Be yours. Do whatever you want. Just don't kill me!" I covered my mouth. It was dead silent, before he spoke. "I need something to feast on." He looked away. His eyes softened slightly as he trailed his fingers up my spine again, making me shiver. "Get me something to eat, every day. Animals, humans, I don't care. But if you miss one day, I'll kill you, okay?" He said. I thought about it for a second. It was a huge risk, but one I'm willing to take. "D-Deal."
"Good. Now come with me. I'll show you where you'll be staying"
