Inspired by The Strangers: Chapter One.

Tyrone's POV:

My car had broken down in a small, crappy town. One of the townsfolk offered to fix my car and rent me a cabin, which I gladly accepted. It was in the middle of the woods, which wasn't very good if an emergency were to happen. I guess it's better than nothing, I thought  to myself.  "It looks...unstable." I whispered to the woman next to me. She gave me an irritated look, shaking her head and sucking her teeth. "I thought you'd be more grateful, boy. Do you want to sleep in the streets?"

"No, ma'am! I really am grateful, trust me! It's just...I've got an awful feeling about this place. Like, something might happen tonight." I looked at the cabin. The lights flashed inside, and it seemed as if it was haunted. I grabbed my stuff from her trunk, waving goodbye. She rolled her eyes and shooed me away, hopping into her car and riding away. "She seemed...pleasant." I whispered.

The cabin made a loud, horrible squeak as the doors opened. Inside, it was almost empty. Like nobody had been here in months, or even years. The only things were an old kitchen, a living room, a grand piano, and a small bed in the corner of the room. No pillows or sheets. "It's only one night, Tyrone." I muttered to myself. I looked around some more, hoping that maybe I'd find something that I could call with. "One night, alone. With no phone, neighbors, or anybody to call for help." I collapsed onto the bed, my head hitting the hard mattress. It felt like concrete, which made a slight pain run through my body. I could feel myself start to get weaker, and I smiled to myself. "I've had enough stress for one day. It's about time I get some sleep."

My eyes started to close, until there was a knock at the door. An angry knock. I froze, looking at the door. It roared anger as the knock started to get louder and more aggressive. "W-Who's there?" I yelled, but no response. The knocking stopped for a second before continuing, this time softer. The floorboards creaked as I got up and walked closer. I prepared for the worst, before opening.

There was a man standing there, long red hair flowing down his back. His eyes glowed a beautiful ruby red as he looked down at me. "Is Tiffany here?" He spoke in a raspy, deep voice. He trailed his hands into my house, his fingertips scraping against the wooden walls. I shook my head before saying, "No, I don't know who Tiffany is...please leave." I tried closing the door, but he stopped me, his eyes now Oxblood. He growled and squeezed the door hard, dents now embedded into it. "I said, please leave." My voice broke as I spoke. I was scared, and didn't know what he would do to me. He was obviously stronger than me. The man reached into his pocket and put a large and sharp switchblade. He pressed it against my neck, hard. The cold steel made me shiver. "If you don't come with me, then I'll torture you until you die. But if you comply, I will not harm you." He pressed his lips against my ear. I whimpered, my eyes feeling with tears. "O-Okay."

"Perfect." He smirked and tied my wrists behind my back. The rope cut into my wrists, making my tears finally come out.

This was the end. I was getting kidnapped by a killer. I was going to die, either starving or being tortured. He placed the knife against my back and pushed me forward, his smirk never leaving. "Y'know," He chuckled, placing me in his black van and tracing the knife against my jaw lightly.  Thankfully, it didn't cut me, but it still hurt. "You gotta be the cutest one I've captured, so far. I might keep you around." He kissed my cheek gently before placing a gag in my mouth and driving, leaving me alone in the trunk and scared.
