Will's POV:

"Orion!" A voice shouted from behind me. I turned around only to see Mason Gleeful, the leader of Aetherside.

Mason was sitting on a tree branch, smiling down at me. I'd always pictured Aethersiders to look hideous and monstrous like my brothers had described to me, but he just looked like a regular human. "W-What are you doing on Vaudeville property!? Y-You're gonna get us in trouble!" I screamed at him, making Mason chuckle. He hopped down from the tree branch and laid next to me, staring up at the stars. "Looks like somebody wandered a little too far from home, huh~?" Mason turned to me, smirking. "Technically, you're the one on Aetherside property. And I could have you arrested for that...but I like you. And I also don't feel like starting another war." Mason pointed to the Ursa Major. I rolled over to face him, just to make sure he was safe to be around. His teal eyes shined, just like the stars. He looked beautiful, stunning even. Mason placed his hand on my cheek. "Whatcha starin' at, hot stuff?" Mason cackled while an embarrassing blush rushed across my face. "Why don't you come visit Aetherside with me? Don't worry, most people will be asleep and even if my people do see you, they can't hurt you unless I command them to." Mason lifted me up, carrying me as if I was a princess. I know I shouldn't be talking to him, or even be near him, but I just couldn't resist him. Besides, this is how I can prove my point. Aetherside and Vaudeville can get along and be friends again!

Soon, Mason and I arrived he pushed away some vines to reveal the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen.

Aetherside was lined up in perfectly painted wooden cabins, roses and blossom trees surrounding each home. Women picked flowers and vegetables while the men cooked dinner for the village. I looked around only to see a huge and beautifully lit mansion, which I assumed was Mason's. "This place is way better than Vaudeville..." I mumbled, picking up roses. The way it looked, how nice the people were, even how nice it smelled, how could anybody hate this? How could anybody believe that monsters live here? If anything, Vaudeville was the town that was living like monsters. Mason sighed, picking up rose petals and crumbling them in his hand. "I always thought that Vaudeville was more beautiful than Aetherside, actually. My parents always told me that you guys lived like barbarians, and that you all were ugly and cruel. But now meeting you Will,"  Mason wrapped his arms around my shoulders, pulling me closer. "I think Vaudeville isn't all that bad."

I looked away, rethinking everything I'd ever heard. "I just have one final question..." I placed my finger to my temple, tapping it lightly. "Why did you burn down our village?" Mason's eyes softened, biting his bottom lip gently. "We wanted revenge after your town tried killing our queen. We really didn't want to, and we definitely regretted it after, trust me. We just didn't want to get taken advantage of." Mason pulled me closer, resting his chin on my head. My town...they lied to us. They made us believe that Aetherside were the bad guys. But really...

It was us

Hope you liked it! I'll wrap it up on my next Willdip story, then you guys can see what happens next! Love you guys! Btw, the picture above is what Mason's house looked like. Pretty, right? Bye!
