Gin Akutagawa POV
Me and Teruko explore the underground tunnels we've been dropped into.
But one thing that's constantly annoying me.
Is this stupid head injury.
I can barely even walk at this point and it hasn't even been an hour!
Not to mention my throats getting drier by the second.
It's getting hard to inhale, let alone attempt to speak.
But if there's anyway to let her know the struggle I'm having without having her turn around, so be it.
"Ter-uk-o-"
"What did I say Gin? Don't talk, you'll hurt your throat more."
Yeah and my throat and probably concussion are the problem!
I can barely see with how much the worlds spinning right now!
Let alone stand!
"Can-t stan-d-"
As the words fall from my mouth, my legs give out.
Luckily I'm with a Hunting Dog and the words registered in her brain before I hit the floor.
Teruko's arms are underneath mine, gently lowering me further onto the floor.
"I'm gonna turn you around, okay?"
I give her a nod and feel my body get flipped over and then lowered back down onto the ground.
"Definitely a concussion. Crap."
I hear Teruko mutter.
That's not good.
We can't go on if I can't ever stand.
Let alone walk.
Meaning we've gotta get out of here.
And someone else is gonna have to find the boys.
"Do you still have your phone?"
I move my hand to my pocket, feeling for my phone.
Luckily enough, I find it.
I give Teruko a small nod as my arms are too sore to grab it myself.
"Good."
She leans over me and quickly pulls the phone from my pocket.
I hope it's not broken.
That'd put us in the worst situation ever.
"Do yo-u-"
I start to speak so Teruko looks down at me.
I move my hand towards my ear and point at it.
Hoping she'll get the hint.
"No. It fell out when the ground exploded under us. Even if I found it, it's probably broken."
