Junichiro Tanizaki POV

I open my eyes to see a bright light shining above me, forcing my eyes closed for another second before I open them again and adjust to the brightness.

Where am I? This most definitely is not where I was before.

Teruko was on the phone with someone, telling them to go to where we are and...

Get me, I think?

"Mister? Are you awake?"

I hear a young girls voice call from beside me.

My entire bodies sore, especially my upper body after helping Teruko, but I manage to move it enough to see where the voice is coming from.

Just as it sounds, it's a young girl. She looks no older than 10.

"You are awake! Don't worry, we're safe. Miss Suzuki brought us here under the orders of that red, or pink, haired girl. She kinda looks like me but she's taller and way louder. You were talking to her, right?"

Everything she says describes Teruko to, almost, a tea from first looks.

So the person Teruko was talking to showed up and brought us here under her orders?

I open my mouth to speak but before I can the girl cuts me off.

"I don't think you're supposed to be talking. You were asleep when they lifted you onto the bed thingy, I think it was called a gurney or something.

But you're hurt, well you looked worse when we were still in that stone place, but you're still hurt, you shouldn't move much or like, at all. That could worsen whatever sorta injuries you have."

Yeah, she's definitely right. Moving hurts, I don't think talkings going to be any better.

In fact it might just end up being worse or end up worsening something.

"Uhm, there's some other girl here too. She has long black hair and a mask thingy. There was an older man next to her."

Long black hair and a mask?

That sounds like Gin. Did she get hurt while me and Tachihara were trapped?

Wait.

Did they find Tachihara yet?

They must've, they've had to. They found me and he's definitely down there somewhere and so are they so they must've found him.

They have to find him, they're the Hunting Dogs and he's not safe. Even if that creeps been caught, Tachihara's still not safe.

Not down there, alone, probably injured, with no one to help him.

"Mister, please lie back down!"

My body starts to move on it's own. Ignoring the pain it brings from moving, it proceeds to move until I'm almost entirely sat up.

The little girl acts frantically, trying to push me back down without injuring me further.

"Please! You shouldn't be sitting up!"
