Thorin glanced at the rider who came on horse back after the elven part came in. He glanced at her cloak as it was dirty from the mud of Bree. She looked at him with no expression as she stood near Lindir. Then he realized who she was. He had seen her at the Prancing Pony in Bree and he caught her leaping out the window of the Prancing Pony. Her gryphon came walking through the dwarves and stood with Elrond and Gandalf. He lightly moved his wings before looking at Thorin. He knew that cloak anywhere as she was the one who sat in front of Gandalf after he left the table.

"Your the cloaked figure at the Prancing Pony."

"Yes, that was me."

"Why are you here anyway?" he said to her in the most threatening tone while heading up to her.

He screeched out in anger as Zarneleane came to him while patting his neck. Shikoba reared up again as Thorin backed up. He calmed down as he rested his beak against her cheek. She looked at him before she placed her hand on his cheek under his eyes.

"Easy, mellonamin. Tenna' telwan." she said as he calmed down some more." I suggest that you hold your tongue, Thorin, son of Thrain. I suggest that you keep your distance and keep your sister sons in line. You will not disrespect Lord Elrond or any of my kin and that includes me. Am I clear?"

"Understood."

"Good, now we have an understanding." she said as Shikoba removed his beak from her face.

He placed his head under hand as she petted him once more. He nudged her arm as she stood back from him. Pulling away, he eyed Thorin carefully as he moved back some more. He was much taller than Thorin and would have trouble  getting to the saddle but an elf wouldn't. The she-elf and the gryphon were around the same height. Thorin got a sense of protection from the gryphon as he was with the she-elf.

"Nartho i noer, toltho i viruvir. Boe i annam vann a nethail vin." Elrond said to Thorin.

She looked at the dwarves while he spoke elvish words as one of them got riled up.

"What is he saying? Does he offer us insult?" Gloin said.

"No, Master Gloin, he's offering you food."

The dwarves went to each other while discussing amongst themselves then turn back to Gandalf.

"Ah, well. In that case, lead on."

Lindir and Zarneleane headed up the stairs as the others follow them Elrond and Zarneleane  went off to their rooms to change clothes and out of their armor. They came back wearing their clothes. Gandalf was there with them as Thorin was following them. He managed not to say another word to Zarneleane because she could easily cut one of his braids off in a single swipe of a dagger or a sharp knife. She walked with two other elves as they were behind her. They joined Elrond, Gandalf and Thorin as they headed to dinner. Zarneleane and the two others headed up the stairs to the small area above them. There was a small table for them to eat their dinner away from the dwarves but keeping an eye on them. Ori picks up a lettuce leaf but wasn't to keen on eating it.

"Try it. Just a mouthful."

"I don't like green food."

The dwarves finds out that the elves' supper consists of fruits and vegetables.

"Where's the meat?" Dwalin said as he sifted through the food with his hand

"Have they got any chips?"

Elrond, Gandalf and Thorin walked to the dinner table.

"Kind of you to invite us. I'm not really dressed for dinner."
