It was killing me that rakim and I weren't on good terms I miss my brother. Seeing meech and Terry together all the time made me miss him even more.
Today was a very important day today me and my team performed today as we were getting ready I got emotional. "Baby doll are you okay?" Jessica me as I sat down in the bench in the locker room with my pom pom.
"No, I wish my brother was here to support me I wish we never got into it".
"Girl please not right now we gotta be out in three minutes" shay said as she rolled her eyes.
"Shay please not right now- hey everything will be fine I'm sure he'll be here did you ever tell him about your performance?".
"Yea, a few months back I'm sure he forgot it".
"Ashanti regardless if he comes or not you still have people out here that support you".
"Thank you, ugh let me stop fix myself " shay gave me a napkin to wide the tears from my eyes I quickly fix my mascara.
We went out there and danced we never disappoint of course every dude out there cheers us on.
As we did our kicks, turns, splits Demetrius, Terry, Ciara, rakim entered inside the door a huge smile grew on my face.
Jessica looks over and smiles. "I told you girl".
I couldn't wait for this dance to be over so I can hug my big brother.
"Ra" I ran over and hug him.
"Baby girl you were Great out there" he kissed my forehead.
"Thank you".
I walked over to meech and kissed him. "Good job baby"
"Let me get my things we'll be out of here".
After getting my things we left out the door. We got into meech's car and drove to the house we all chilled in the backyard playing cards and talking. "Can I speak with you alone please?". Rakim asked me I nodded my head got off meech lap.
We walked over by the fence. "I'm sorry for being an ass nit talking to you in a long time... it's just I can't believe you growing up on me you know I made a promise to mom and dad to take care of you" I saw him shed a tear.
"I wasn't ready for you to grow up" he broke down in tears.
That's when I broke down. "Ra, dont cry- look what you made me do. I love you too I'm not a little girl no more you gotta let me go if you worried about meech he's good to me he makes me happy we love each other if you know meech you know how much he loves me will protect me".
He nodded his head and wipe his tears as I explained to him after our moment he hugged me and kissed my cheek. "I love you lil sis".
"I love you too" I replied.
