The Door (NicoPOV)

That's a cool name for a house.
I don't think the others thought so, though.
There were whispers and murmurs at all of the tables.
The empty area on my chest glowed and a tie with green and silver stripes appeared. Ones with red and bronze appeared on my...friends.
I got up and looked around. I asked the professor or, whatever she was, what I do now. She pointed at a table with hundreds of more students that had the same ties. I thanked her and made my way there. I spotted a boy with silver hair and sat beside him.
He smiled weakly at me. I looked away. Everyone kept staring.
I didn't like this.
I took a deep breath.
If only Will was here.
I noticed that there was a golden plate in front of me. I focused on it, thinking of good things. Suddenly, food appeared in front of us.
"Huh, it's just like our camp- school," I said without thinking. Draco chuckled and said,
"Yeah, I guess so."
I wasn't hungry, so I pushed the plate away and fiddled with my ring finger. It felt empty without the ring.
Finally, an old, old guy stood up from the teacher's table. He began to speak,
"Students! I do hope you've had a nice meal. Now, I am sure you are tired and filled now. But, I still have some announcements."
His voice was calming. Fatherly. I listened.
"As always, the Forbidden Forest is, as the name suggests, forbidden! As for the transfer students, as they practice stronger and dangerous forms of magic, we believe it will be safer for them to be seperated from the other students. So, please follow Professor Hagrid to your room."
This statement was followed with clatters and whispers as students stood up and followed some people with badges.
Draco waved me good-bye and I grunted in reply.
I caught up with the others and walked beside Hazel.
"You okay?" She asked as we followed the hulking and bearded professor.
"Fine, I'll IM Will, tonight," I replied.
I bumped into the back of Professor Hagrid as he stopped. He grabbed me with a large hand and positioned me back. I blushed with embarrassment and crossed my arms, ignoring the sniggers of Leo.
Professor Hagrid unlocked a large door and handed me the key, with a reassuring pat on my shoulder which made me fall over.
Annabeth walked over and helped me up before going back to Percy.
I pushed opened the door and walked inside, the Seven, Reyna and Thalia behind me.
There were ten doors with ten symbols. I pointed to the one with a skull and a sun and said,
"Guess that's me, we'll check the tenth door out tommorrow." I walked inside and closed the door behind me before checking out the room properly. I gasped.
It was beautiful.
It made me feel content.
It was a large room with dark walls that contrasted the pale, yellow floors and ceiling. My bed was small and had silver blankets and sheets with black pillows.
But, what really made me gasp was the picture.
On the left of my bedside was a small desk with a chair. It had a lamp with a small notebook. There was a picture sitting opposite of the lamp.
Me and Bianca.
Just a few days before she...
Before she'd...
I wiped a tear away and sat in the chair. Examining the photo. I was grinning at her, wide and happy. My skin was less pale than now and my eyes had no bags. But, I noticed something I wish I'd noticed before.
Despite the fact Bianca was smiling at me in the picture, it was a tired sort-of smile.
Like, she loved me but she wished I stopped clinging to her. She had bags from nights staying up studying and taking care of me.
I placed the picture down and laid down on the bed.
I was tired.
Really tired.

(ANNABETH.)

The sun tickled my eyes as I opened my heavy lids.
Percy sat in a chair in front of me that had a desk. He was doodling in notebook and smiled at me when he saw I was awake.
He ruffled my hair and said,
"It's, like, five or six am. We got like two hour 'till, uh, Defence Against Art or something, dunno what paintings did to the wizards though."
I laughed, my throat dry from just waking up.
"It's Dark Arts, Seaweed Brain."
He shrugged and continued doodling.
I sat up and scanned my room again.
It was neat and had a desk beside the bed. My sheets had an owl and my pillows were grey. Other than that, I had some bookcases with books and several beanbags.
I got up and gave Percy a peck on his cheek and said, "Since we've got some time to kill, we should check out that tenth door."
He nodded and whispered in my ear,
"Everyone woke up an hour ago."
I blushed and punched his shoulder.
"Ahem."
We turned.
Frank stood at the doorway, red.
"Sorry," He muttered.
Percy laughed and said,
"Two strikes, Frank! First, the stables, now here?"
We both laughed and followed him out.
Everyone else was sitting on sofas and beanbags around a round-table in the middle of the area between our rooms.
I pointed at the tenth door,
"Has anyone checked the symbol out yet?"
Everyone shook their heads. I sighed and stepped towards it. I looked at the symbol and-
No way.
No fricking way!
It was like an F but, the two lines were slightly slanted upwards.
The sign of Frey.
The sign of my little cousin's dad.
I yelled to the others,
"That's a Norse sign!"
Percy perked up. He met my cousin before.
"No way?"
"Yes way! I'm opening it, it could be Magnus!"
That was my cousin's name.
He nodded and everyone stood up, waiting for me to open the door.
I pulled it open and, there he was, my cousin in all his blonde glory. He was asleep, sitting on the grass-carpet and leaning against his bed
Alex Fierro sat beside him, her tongue sticking out in concentration as she drew...shapes on his forehead.
Suddenly, she turned to stare at us, her other hand on her waist where she kept her weapon, a garrote.
"Annabeth?"
Then, Magnus woke up with a jump, slamming his head into Alex's.
