Chapter 60: Arrival part 1

Kawaii-Chan stumbled back a bit, holding her stomach, and tears started to form.

Kawaii-Chan's thoughts: " No. No, no. This can't be happening, not now. AH! Oh Irene!"

Kawaii-Chan started to shake, Zoey and Donna rushed to her side to help support her.

Kawaii-Chan: " Ka-Ka... I'm sorry."

Donna: " It's okay. Kawaii-Chan, it's okay, I'm not mad."

Alexis: " Where's Zane?"

Lilith: " Zuzu went out."

Everyone looked over at the young girl.

Lilith: " He and Nekoette went to look for Alina after the mean kitty bite me."

Everyone froze hearing that, Leona looked outside, seeing both of Aphmau's dogs, Celestia and Thorgina. She shifted into her wolf form and helped them fight off some of the living shadows.

Leona: " Go find Aphmau and Zane."

The two dogs barked and rushed off, Alexis and Lucinda rushed out, pulling their sword and staff out to help Leona protect the house as Donna and Zoey help Kawaii-Chan to the second floor, Lilith tried to followed, but Donna hid her with Luca in her room.

Luca: " Mama?"

Donna: " Shhh... It's okay. You two just stay in here for a while."

Lilith/Luca: " Why?"

Donna: " Because.. Because... Kawaii-Chan needs to... To rest and it's not safe downstairs."

Lilith: " What about Alina, Zuzu and Nekoette?"

Luca: " Mama, where's brothers?"

Donna: " ... Zane will protect them and bring them back safely, Yip and daddy is with Rollo and Lello, alongside with Dmitri, and when this is all over, they'll be fine and we'll all be together. I swear."

Lilith and Luca were a bit scared, Donna put on a brave face, and it was able to calm the girls down a bit. She kissed Luca and hugged the two.

Donna: " Just stay in here, and play for a while. I'll be in the other room and come straight over if you need anything, okay?"

Lilith/Luca: " Okay."

The two girls calm down and began to play with some times, it worked to keep them distracted from what was going on outside. Donna went back into her room, where Zoey was trying to calm Kawaii-Chan down.

Zoey: " It's going to be alright, Kawaii-Chan. You done this before."

Kawaii-Chan: " *panting* No.. I-I can't... Not without Zane..."

Zoey: " I know, and I'm sure he'll come racing back after finding Alina. But I don't think your little one isn't going to wait any longer. Donna, do you have any blankets or towels we can use?"

Donna: " Of course."

Kawaii-Chan clenched her teeth, Donna came over and gently rubbed Kawaii-Chan's back.

Donna: " Just breathe, Kawaii-Chan, you're going to be alright. Through the nose and out the mouth. Through the nose, and out the mouth."

Kawaii-Chan started to steady her breathing, Zoey and Donna grabbed the things that they were going to use to help with the birth, Kawaii-Chan rubbed her stomach.

Kawaii-Chan: " Ok-okay... Okay. We-we're going to be fine.. Your daddy's coming... Oh, you have to arrival on the worst possible time, huh? *small chuckle*"
