Chapter 13 - Princess Treatment

Today was the day you travelled to Old Trafford for the Austria game and you and Leah had barely packed anything so you were slightly rushing
"Babe don't forget your meds"
She said passing you your med bag
"god I wish I wasn't in so many"
You said sighing and shoving them into the bottom of your bag
"why is there so many?"
Leah questioned unplugging her charger to pack it
"Well there's my anxiety and depression meds, then my ADHD meds, then my deficiency pills, my inhalers and then a lot of painkillers for whenever I need them"
You said not really thinking about it
"Your literally a goddess for playing with all that going on"
Her mouth was pretty much on the floor because you had never told her about all your problems before so she was shocked, you finished packing and were about to leave the room when Leah took your bag off you and carried it herself, you didn't say anything because she was always insisting on carrying things for you, getting you food, buying you things she knew you liked, picking you up when your legs were tired, that sort of thing. You just giggled at her because you had never been treated so well and she acted like it was just normal, it wasn't normal to you though. You walked outside when you saw the camera man and he approached you
"Y/n what are you most excited for in the upcoming match?"
He asked as Leah went to put your things away
"erm hopefully my first senior cap and maybe a goal or assist? I'm just really looking forward to experiencing a home euros"
You said when in reality you were just exited to be with Leah and the girls
"do you think you can win it all?"
You didn't even have to think before saying your answer
"I mean have you seen our squad? It's amazing and over this past month we've been training and the dynamics are incredible some of the players are just world class"
You rambled about, football was your passion and this is what you had trained so hard for
"are you one of these world class players?"
He replied, this time you took a minute to think about it
"erm I don't really see myself that way I'm more thinking Leah, Lucy, Keira, Georgia, Hempo and Ellen, pretty much the whole squad"
"She is one of those players she's just humble and blind"
Leah shouted from behind you walking to put her arm around your shoulder
"oh shut up you"
You replied rolling your eyes
"Right well thank you I'll leave you to get ready for the coach journey"
The camera walked away leaving you and Leah alone
"You're too hard on yourself love honestly"
"shush no I'm not"
You and Leah had sat down and you almost instantly fell asleep, you woke up and were outside your hotel Leah was nudging you to wake you up
"cmon you need to wake up"
She said caressing the side of your face she helped you up and walked down the steps of the coach holding her hand out for you
"there's cameras"
You said to her
"I don't care your always gonna get princess treatment with me"
She helped you down and grabbed both your bags while you walked inside to try and get away from the cameras because you absolutely hated them. Soon Leah caught up with you, her bag on her shoulder and yours in her hand
"I think I like this princess treatment"
