"Hey pretty girl how you feeling?"
She asked taking you by the waist
"To be honest I've not thought about my feelings for the past 2 hours"
You replied giving her a quick kiss
"Babe you know that's not healthy"
"Shush I'm very aware of it, everyone likes to tell me at least twice a day"
You reminded her cuddling into her neck as she kissed the top of your head
"I know, I just want you to know that when your ready to you can tell me anything at all"
"I will at some point Le"
You pulled out of the hug because you could hear someone coming your direction, it was Lucy
"Come find me in the main area when your done"
Leah said giving you a quick kiss and leaving, she obviously knew that Lucy wanted you
"You alright?"
Lucy asked as you began walking
"Mhm"
You replied
"No your not"
"How do you always know?"
"I just do"
"It's really creepy you know"
"Oh well, what's up then?"
She asked the dreaded question again.
"Why can't I be normal Luce"
You had never felt like you fit in, you didn't understand social standards and you had such unpredictable emotions it made it impossible to control them, you just wanted to be like everyone else
"Y/n"
She looked at you and sighed seeing tears well up in your eyes
"You need to try and understand that so many things have happened to you that most people can't deal with, you've had diagnosis after diagnosis and we can tell its draining the life out of you but we love you for who you are, your a perfect example of pushing the standards. You are you and nothing can change that"
Lucy had always been good with words, she tried to steer away from the degrading words around you because when your at your lowest anything could be a trigger
"I just wish things went back to how it used to be, before everything"
"When did it stop being how it used to be?"
"I don't know like year 8?"
Lucy looked at you raising her eyebrows
"Y/n I hate to break it to you-"
"I know, I know it's never gonna be like that again let my belive my delusions for one minute"
You interrupted Lucy knowing exactly what she was gonna say
"You know keira thinks it's really creepy we can pretty much read each other's mind?"
Lucy said trying to take your mind off of everything
"I don't think it is, it's just cause we know each other like the back of our hands"
You replied, Lucy had taken you under her wing and you felt at ease instantly
"Neither do I kid"
She smiled and put her arm around your shoulder when you could just about hear keira cackling
"Well I can hear our lovely girlfriends"
You said laughing
"That cackle kills me off"
Lucy added, you walked inside to see keira and Leah in a piece on the floor and a concerned georgia lying on the floor next to them, very clearly not laughing
"What in fucks name happened here?"
You asked looking at Leah who litterally had tears streaming down her face
"This idiot just fell of her chair"
Keira managed to get out before bursting out laughing
"You dickhead"
You said turning to G and helping her off the floor
"You good?"
"Yeah I think it's those two you should be concerned about"
You looked back at Leah and Kei who were still catching their breath
"You immature pricks"
You said to them making both girls look at you
"How very dare you"
Keira said getting up and getting you in a headlock
"Ginger"
"Migit"
"Dense"
"Antisocial"
"Says you"
You and Keira kept on going back and forth until Lucy finally interrupted
"Keira let go of her and y/n dont rile her up"
Keria was practically your sister, she went to your high school and despite being 3 years above you she was always there considering you signed a professional contract at 14 when she signed hers at 17. You didn't have to go into detail with her because she knew everything from when you were growing up although recently you had struggled opening up to her
"Yeah Keira if you break my glasses your paying"
Keira let you go in a huff
"Well at least your actually wearing them today"
She replied
"Yeah when was I gonna get told your blind babe?"
Leah said getting up and grabbing your glasses that had fallen off your head when keira had you in a headlock
"I'm not blind I have astigmatism and my heads pounding today so I put them on"
"Lord have mercy the world just hates you doesn't it?"
She said handing them to you
"I guess"
You put your glasses on and decided to go for a walk, your social battery was already drained, you put on your headphones and walked around outside thinking about everything that had happened to you. From your self harm addiction that sparked at 12, to your eating disorder that came shortly before you were diagnosed with all your mental health problems and all of your physical health issues it seemed like everything possible had happened to you and that there was nothing left for life to throw at you. Obviously you were wrong. You felt empty, you had Leah and the girls but you felt so incomplete without Gabby. She wasn't just your best friend, you were counterparts. You felt your phone buzz, it was Leah
