Chapter 16 - Nervous

You went to bed that night but couldn't really sleep you just sat there thinking about the game and Gabby, Leah was sleeping seemingly peacefully next to you so you were trying to be as quiet as possible and climb out of bed when you felt an hand grab onto your wrist
"Where are you going?"
Leah asked as she opened her eyes and sat up
"I couldn't sleep"
You replied trying to wiggle out of the blondes grasp
"Come here"
She tugged on your arm and you got back in bed, she held you like she had done multiple times, her fingers running through your hair soon making you fall asleep. You woke up the next day, your phone read 4:57am
2 minutes before your alarm went off so you decided to cancel it to avoid waking Leah up when you realised she wasn't there
"Le?"
You got out of bed and headed to the bathroom but she wasn't there either so you messaged Keira

Y/n - Do you know where Leah is?
Kei - No I thought she would still be in bed at this time come mine and Lucy's room
Y/n - I'll be there soon

You got changed and went to Keira's room, you rang Leah but it went to voicemail. You knocked on the door and waited for a response
"Come in"
You walked inside and saw both Keira and Lucy pulling their shoes on
"What are you doing?"
You asked them
"Erm we're going to look for Leah with you, she likes to do disappearing acts when somethings bothering her because she's all big and strong and doesn't like talking about her feelings"
Keira explained as she tied her laces
"And she's the one who tells me to tell her when I feel like shit"
You said as you all walked out the door. You went one way and they went the other, it was a 2 minute walk away from Old Trafford so she could of easily gone there but you had a gut feeling she was somewhere else. You went to the back of the hotel which had an open view to the usually busy roads and saw her there, wearing your hoodie and just watching.
"Hey"
You said leaning against the wall, she didn't respond so you sat down next to her finally making eye contact with her. You didn't have to say anything to know she was stressed you just wrapped her in your arms, she nusseled her head into your neck
"You alright?"
"mhm just nervous, sorry I didn't tell you I had gone I didn't want to wake you up, you didn't fall asleep till 3am"
You kissed her forehead and helped her up putting your arm around her waist as you walked inside
"22 looks good on you"
(Referring to the number you wore for national and club that was on the hoodie Leah was wearing)
"Shut up"
She said shaking her head and going bright red
"Tell me when you're stressed next time"
You said squeezing her hip
"Don't know about that"
She replied kissing the side of your head
"God woman you drive me insane"
Leah giggled as you said this, you then bumped into Keira and Lucy
"Oh so she decided to show up then?"
Lucy said almost out of breath like they had been running around
"I did tell you to stop looking for me when I do this I just like to think over what's happening"
"Don't even try saying that because last time you went missing for 7 hours"
Keira said this in a way you had never heard her before, she sounded angry
"Yep sorry about that one"
Leah had her head down but you assumed it was because keira was shouting, she didn't do it much. You and Leah headed up to your room because it was only 5:30am and barely anyone was awake
"Are you sure your okay babe you look as white as a ghost"
You asked rubbing over her hand with your thumb
"Yeah I'm just nervous"
"sure"
You weren't convinced but went along with it
