A Halloween to remember

(Set in the same AU as "My BFB") It had already been a long night and I knew alone with my biological brothers and my adopted ones the life I was born into but with them all dating each other I was pretty much a 5th wheel. And I was the only girl in both families so ever day/night of my life was a long one. I was held up in back. It was Halloween we had been walking to get candy for literally hours as it was the only legal time we could go door to door begging strangers for candy. We had gotten boat loads of candy and Gabe was complaining that his feet hurt as if he was the only one. And he was also the one to suggest we go trick or treating and now he was the one begging to go home. He was hugging Sam's arm and Cas and Dean had tagged along and I'm never not with Sam unless I was with Cas and Gabe had wanted all our costumes to be perfect.

It was my favorite holiday next to Christmas it was a tie truth be told. The only person that was more than one thing was me and apparently that was perfect for Gabe. He said I should dress up as part of everything because that's who I was. Born into a life with them but Sam and Dean's sister. The costume was an angel but I had devil horns vampire makeup and a cat tail. They didn't have a werewolf tail. As for the others Dean was Jason from Friday the 13th (which is funny because Jared was in the most recent Friday the 13th and was the final girl) Cas for whatever reason wanted to be Edward Scissorhands or Freddy Kreuger Gabe was Frankenstein's Monster though he looked more like the Hulk to me and Sam wasn't sure what to be. Gabe was not pleased by this he tried to make him look scary by putting special affects makeup on him and then I put my halo on his head glue cat whiskers to his face with the costume glue and he wore the devil tail. Everyone though we were so cute for dressing similarly.

Sam tried to complain but wasn't real complaining especially since I was so excited that we more or less looked like we were matching. While the other 3 looked perfect Gabe teased that Sam and I looked adorable. And now it was 3am. How we managed to be out this late walking around begging strangers for candy and why people still had their lights on I'll never know considering most people usually turn their lights off pre COVID at around 10pm back when kids still played outside and not on their iPads. Those sticky iPad kids! But we still had one more house to get to on Gabe's candy list this one had the jackpot of candy it was all the king sized stuff. We reluctantly followed after Gabe up to the house and the door opened to a kind little old man before we even rang the doorbell. He said he was just about to lock up for the night surprised people were still out. But he gave us all the rest of his candy and though we were adorable. When we got back home Sam called dibs on the shower before we even got the door open. And so while he did that I went to my bathroom and took the makeup off best I could.

And then we al got into pjs or something a kin to pjs like say oversized comfortable clothing. While the others were doing that I helped Cas with the hot chocolate. Sorry you're always the 5th wheel sis. He apologized to me. Nah it's ok I don't mind I'm used to it but also I have two families that love me to pieces and brothers that dote on me and would kill anyone who hurt me maybe literally. Soon enough we all settled down on the couch Cas was wearing one of Dean's shirts Gabe and I were wearing Sam's oversized hoodies. And he couldn't get the green off his face. Which Sam laughed at and I tried really hard not to laugh at. Sam sat between Dean and Gabe while I laid across their laps since they all were taking up the rest of the couch even though I really wanted to sit between him and Dean. Ok get up here. Sam rolled his eyes. Yeah I forgot you two did that. Dean rolled his own eyes. And then we decided we were gonna watch a movie. Gabe squished in next to Sam teasing him that he'd pay for laughing but they kissed anyways.

Sam then told everyone that he didn't want to hear anyone complain about how bad the movie was then shot a glare toward Dean and then Dean used the words horror and movie and I jumped up from th couch. And goodnight everybody see you at sunrise. Wait Farrah no come back. They called after me. Stay with us they begged me. No way in hell! I exclaimed. I'm going to my room but I'll leave my door open. I said taking my hot chocolate. See that neither of you like horror movies you cry at them and Farrah's fight and flight kicks in. Dean said. I do not cry! Sam pouted while Gabe agree and Cas protested. And then movie started but I couldn't tell you which one because I don't watch horror movies and put my headphones on. 10 mins later I came out to pop some popcorn I decided I was gonna watch a movie too. Hey did you come back to join us? Sam asked me. Hell nah dude! I just wanted some buttery popcorn I'm watching the Nightmare Before Christmas in my room I came for popcorn and mnms. But you're more than welcome to join me if you want. I may just take you up on that offer if I get too borde Gabe spoke up. You do that Gabe I turned to listen to the popcorn pop and then he accidently nudged Sam in the ribs.
