I begin to look frantically between Kai and the three beings now approaching Hera and me. I am about to call out to Kai, to ask what is going on, but I second guess, whether or not that would be a good idea. Instead, I look over at Hera, who is now also awake, though seem sluggish. She slowly lifts her head and looks at Kai. She starts to whimper loudly. Even though I'm probably in as much pain as her, my heart bleeds listening to her cries. At that moment I hear a whimper escaping Kai, just as he tears his gaze away from Hera, stands up, and begins walking away.

I don't get to see where he goes before the tallest of the three beings lets his long and sharp fingers fold around to the back of my head as if it were an apple, he was about to take a bite out of. I can feel myself tremble, as he bends down slowly until we are at eye height. His dead black eyes stare directly into my soul, and I get the weird sense, that he must be able to read every thought and emotion I have ever felt. He abruptly pulls his hand to himself again, making me sway slightly on the rope.

His head turns eerily slow over to Hera, before his body turns, and he approaches her as if he were floating. He grabs her muzzle, and even though she is big, his hand can easily wrap all the way around. At the sight, I can't hold down my fear of what he might be planning to do. I just know that I won't let him do anything to Hera, without me fighting him.

I start squirming against the rope binding me and yell "Hey! Get away from her! You don't need her, you only need me!". I have no idea if this is true, but from the vision I had, I believe I might be onto something. The tall being looks slowly over at me, still holding Hera's muzzle. I can hear her trying to breathe through his iron grip, which only makes me fear more for her safety.

"Who are you, and what do you want?!" I say with a bit more conviction in my voice. The two smaller of the three look at each other, and make a kind of laugh, that honestly just sounds like rattling bones.

"We are druids." they then answer in unison, with that same monotone eerie voice from my vision, that sounds like a multiple of voices talking over each other at the same time. A chill runs down my spine, and I swallow hard, not really happy that I got their attention anymore.

"And what... what do you want?" I get out, with a tremor in my voice.

"We made a deal," they answer vaguely.

"With whom?" I get out a bit forced.

"The Gods... And the werewolf." At this they look back at Kai, who is now standing a good distance away, leaning up against a tree, and also looking uncomfortable with the sudden attention of the druids. Hera begins whimpering loudly at this at fights against her restraints but succeeds little with her endeavours. I feel a fire start raging in my core. What the hell has Kai led us into?

The tall druid then steps in front of my vision again and says matter of factly "You will not fight.". I look at him confused and scared. After a while, I just nod. Hera has also quieted down and seems to agree to his condition.

One of the other druids approaches me, the other Hera, and proceeds to cut us down. They don't try to catch us, as we fall to the ground. I manage to turn my head a bit, so I fall more on my shoulder than on my head. Still hurts like hell though. Next to me Hera also falls like a bag of potatoes, and I can hear something crunching as a small yelp escapes her. We don't have any time to regain any footing before we are taken under the arms and dragged over to the circle of treetrunks, that they had sat at just minutes earlier.

I get plopped down forcefully since the druid doesn't trouble themself with bending down before dropping me on the log. I am then quickly bound down by another rope, just in case I have any silly ideas of escaping, I guess. Next to me, Hera is also bound with one set of legs on each side of the log. Her ankles must still be broken judging by the look from here. She is constantly letting out a shrill sound, which I identify as a painful whimper.

All three look over at Kai in the same motion and say in unison "Sit.". Kai slowly approaches us, and I stare daggers into his soul. He decides to sit on a log to the side, not daring to look at any of us. "Shut up Hera, not now," he says in a low voice, purposefully not looking anywhere near her. She must have tried to mind-link.

As we are seated, the three druids sit down at the same time on the log opposite Hera and me. They just sit and stare for a good minute before I dare ask again "What do you want?".

"Your heart. Your soul. A sacrifice. To the Gods." They say slowly and without any feeling. I just sit in silence for some time, wondering what they could mean. I then dare ask "And Kai? What is his role in all this?". I dread the answer. I couldn't begin to imagine the pain Hera would feel if Kai had betrayed our trust.

"Just a pawn. A temporary alliance.". My blood boils as my eyes shoot to Kai, who is still staring holes into the ground. I can feel Hera beside me trying to fight against their claims, probably hoping, that they are lying.

"What are you going to do now?" I ask hesitantly.

"Answer your questions. Examine you. Then sacrifice you." They answer in turn.
