The four of them were touring around the pagoda before wondering into the nearby forest. They hadn't walk far before the charms on Dun's bracelet rang.
"Phu, open the dimension portal, now! Pond, on guard!" Dunk ordered. Phuwin rushed to action, sending them to a parallel dimension so that the humans do not see them and nothing in the current world gets destroyed. The modern structure slowly fades from their view, as the old world came in sight. Pond had conjured a sword as he stood guard, shielding Joong and the rest. Joong was confused. He could no longer differentiate reality and dream at this point.
"We meet again..." The Obsidian snake hissed as it revealed itself from the shadow. It tilted its head as it looked at Joong.
"The venom didn't kill you? I'll make sure you die this time." It said before it strike. Pond tried to defend as best as he could. Joong noticed Phuwin holding Dunk back, while shaking his head. But Dunk couldn't sit back.
"Qilin!" he shouted before he whistled. Qilin who had been hibernating for two millennium was excited when he heard Dunk's shout. He had come roaring as he fought alongside Pond. It was a close fight even with the help of Qilin. Dunk noticed the change in energy within the Obsidian snake. He knew it must be up to its tricks again. He conjured an energy bow and arrow, aiming straight at it. It gave Pond the opening as he cuts off its head.
"Dunk!" Phuwin shouted as Dunk collapsed to the ground, before throwing up blood. Joong's eyes widen in fear. He had tried to wipe off the blood from his lips. Dunk smiled to comfort him.
"Gu mei mi lai. Mai huang. (I'm alright, don't worry.)" Dunk smiled as he tried to comfort Joong. Laughter could be heard from behind the trees.
"How long do you plan to hide it from him, Prince Dunk?" Joong was confused when the person revealed himself. He had not seen him in his dreams before but Pond and Dunk recognized him.
"So nice of you to greet us, Prince AJ or should I call you King of the North now?" Dunk replied as he glared towards the newcomer.
"You still don't remember me, big brother?" He asked as he looked at Joong with a smirk on his face.
Joong really didn't. The memory wasn't coming to him. It only came when he dreamt, so he really didn't know what he was talking about.
"Seemed like he really don't remember much at all. You must be really desperate to come back. I should thank you then, advisor? Are you still hoping to find a cure for your dear prince?" He looked towards Phuwin.
"A cure? What is he talking about?!" Joong looked towards Dunk and Phuwin. None of them could meet his eyes. AJ had laughed.
"You want to know, brother? Let me help you." AJ snapped his fingers, Joong fell to the ground as he felt his head was about to explode. He screamed from the pain before he blacked out.

A/N: casting a different villian this time. I mean, come on, I can't imagine Joss, Gawin or Nine being Joong's younger brother. I was rewatching dark blue kiss because of all the parallel people have been with cherry magic, I realized AJ was a real good villain in it, so AJ it is. 🤣🤣
I have to say that I westernize this a little. technically, Prince Joong and Prince Dunk's world still exist. they live in like an interplane between the modern world and should I say heaven? I dunno. They are kinda immortals deities (yes, they can die😅😅). But it's hard to describe it in a fiction. like how do I explain that their world still exist and their home is still there but invisible to the modern world? so I've taken this approach instead. Parallel dimension it is.
