"Im Belize but my friends call me Belle, well i actually only have one friend but now i have you so two whole people will call me Belle!"
i stare at her with raised eyebrows, her smile never falters
"Anywho" she rocks on her feet "what's your name?"...
It was belles birthday two days ago and her friend Josh brought her a bracelet-making kit with beads
which she loves
she just makes bracelets all day and gives them to my men
which they all wear
and me obviously as well
she's made me two blue ones and a green one
It's so cute
I honestly never want her to leave
she's been here for about 4 days and being able to wake up to her each morning and to see how happy my men are when she's around... I just feel so content
which is why I'm not ready for this conversation-
"you know I love it here but I have a new apartment and I can't stay here forever"
"I know but why don't you stay just a few more days then I promise I'll help you move into your new place," I say
"Pinky promise" she holds up her pinky finger
"what.. what do I do?"
she giggles "Just link your pinky with mine"
I do as she says "Now kiss your thumb" She kisses hers to show me
"why?"
"it seals in the promise, duh"
I sigh and kiss my thumb
"Okay I'll stay until next week" she smiles widely
"good" I kiss her head before standing up
"I have nothing to do today do you want to go somewhere?"
"Can we go to Goodwill?" she asks
"Sweetheart if you want to go shopping you know I'll pay for you so you can get new clothes," I tell her
"I know but I have my own money so I can go to Goodwill"
I sigh "Why don't we go shopping I'll buy you all the new clothes and you can buy all the clothes from Goodwill, deal?"
"but the point was not to spend money on me"
"Baby it's either that or I buy everything" I raise an eyebrow
"okay, deal" she puts out her small hand for me to shake
I laugh and shake it
"come on let's get ready"
she puts on a blue mini-dress and does two small braids at the front of her hair
