it's been just over 2 weeks since Belle moved into her apartment and I hate it

I still see her almost every day but I don't get to wake up and fall asleep to her every morning and night like before

"come here" i pat my lap

she crawls from where she was sitting on my couch to me so that her head is on my lap as she watches despicable me

I stroke my fingers through her blonde hair while she stares at the screen like it's the only thing she's ever seen

"Kill?" i hear her

"yeah, princess?"

"you're like him" she points at gru

I laugh at her throwing my head back "you're so lucky I like you"

I jab my finger lightly into the crook of her waist making her squirm as she grins cheekily at me

she sits up suddenly and runs into my kitchen

I furrow my eyebrows at the direction she left in
"Angel, what are you doing?"

she skips back out with a Hershey's chocolate bar and plops down on my lap

she grins at me and kisses my cheek as I laugh at her

she goes back to eating her chocolate bar when her phone rings

she picks it up with a smile

"Hello?" she says in that sweet voice

I can't hear what the other person's saying but her face drops

"n-no thank you" she stutters making me concerned

she only stutters when she's uncomfortable or scared

"Killian" she whispers to me "fix it" she passes me the phone

well I was just asking Belize out to the club tonight, and you know giving her a taste of what she can get tonight

I hung up and turned my face to see her worried one, melting my heart

"I don't want to go out with him" she shakes her head "he sounds mean" she whispers

"don't worry sweetheart you aren't going out with him" I kiss her cheek "I'm sending someone else"

she lets out a breath and nods "thank you"

"How did he get your number?"

"I thought he wanted to be friends with me" she huffs

"so you gave it to him?" she nods

"I thought he was like Josh" she admits

I try and hold back my smile "You thought he was gay baby?"

"yeah" she puts her head on my shoulder "I don't think he is though"

I laugh at her "No I don't think he is, princess"

I pat her hip twice "Hop up baby I need to get my laptop"

she does as I say and I go to my office where my laptop is, putting some paperwork that I left out away while I'm there

a couple of minutes later I come back out to the living room/kitchen to see a random lady sitting on my dining chair with a glass of water

"I don't think so but I can ask him" Belle says to the woman

"Baby who's this?" i ask

she turns to me with a happy smile "This is Lydia! She said she's in a 'new religious society', are you in one already?"

I furrow my eyebrows "no.."

her smile widens "We can join Lydia's together then!"

"Angel... what are you talking about?"

"Lydia came to the door and asked if we wanted to become a part of her religion! we'll have to start praying but I think it's worth it. Do you want to?" she asks with big eyes

I sigh "Lydia please leave" I open the door for her

"sir we listen to the prophets we can save you when the world ends" she says as I pull her out

"no" I slam the door shut and turn to Belle

I sigh "Baby you can't let people in here, it's not safe and please don't join any cults" I hold her face in my hands

if anyone else did this I would have lost my shit but with Belle, have to be calm or she'll freak out and think ill hurt her

it's not her fault, everyone who was supposed to love her, hurt her or left her

I will not be one of those people

I kiss her pouty lips "It's okay baby just promise not to do it again yeah?"

she nods and holds out her pinky

I smile and link mine with hers and we kiss our thumbs

I pick her up with her legs around my waist and take us back to the couch

I lay down with her on top of me and unpause the movie

after a few minutes, she lifts her head off my chest and looks down at me with a smile

"You're my pretty girl aren't you" I tuck some hair behind her ear

she nods and kisses my lips

she tries to pull back but I put my hand on the back of her neck and pull her lips back to mine

I plunge my tongue into her mouth as my other hand moves to her lower back

she has one hand on my chest keeping her up and her other is in my hair

I pull her impossibly closer to me as I taste her

I wish I could stay here forever

I pull away and look down at her swollen lips

the things I would do to her

but I love her so I couldn't even think of doing anything until she was ready

which is hard because this girl could give me a boner just by simply standing still so I've been having a lot of cold showers recently
