I have exactly one month until my due date, march 5th
I'm so excited!
not only to meet my baby but to get rid of this bump as well
I loved it for a while but now it's heavy, big and uncomfortable
which is why most of my time has been spent in bed or on the couch
the doctor also said I should take it easy since when I got pregnant my body wasn't fully healed from the years of abuse and I was small and underweight
which Killian obviously took as 'don't even let her sit up by herself' because he's been by my side all day, every day
which I obviously love but it's unnecessary, I mean the doctor literally said and I quote "This isn't bed rest I just think it will be best for you to take the next month lazily"
I carefully sit up as Kill works on his laptop at his desk
I slowly stand up and Kill's head snaps to mine "What's wrong? Where are you going? I'll get it sit back down" he rushes over to me
"I'm fine stop stressing" I laugh "I was just going downstairs"
"okay let's go" he holds my hand
"Killian" he raises an eyebrow at me
"you have work to do, I'll just be on the couch or talking to Julio"
"yes and I'll stay with you, doctors orders"
I've got to admit he's being very cute right now
which is just making this harder
"the doctor's orders were to be 'lazy' not act as if I'm paralysed" I shake my head "I'll just be downstairs and you can come down as soon as you're finished"
he sighs "Fine, but call me if you need anything and I'll be down there in a second"
"I promise" I hold out my pinky
he interlocks his finger with mine and we lock in the promise before he kisses me and I head downstairs
I go to the kitchen where Julio is as usual and he lifts me onto my special seat on the kitchen island where I can watch him cook
he puts on the old Italian songs that he introduced me to as he starts chopping
Killian really did get me an Italian tutor who I have seen 4 times a week for the last month
and I'd like to say I'm pretty good
I understand a lot and can read it well, I just can't speak it that well yet
I watch intently as Julio chops a bunch of onions into tiny little pieces quickly
neither of us have said a word yet
I think that's just how comfortable we've gotten with each other
we don't need to talk
next, he chops bell peppers
haha bell like me Belle
i giggle at my thoughts
"you thinking about how you have the same name as a pepper?" Julio asks
I nod and laugh again
Julio chuckles softly and shakes his head
"You're a mind reader" I state
he looks up at me with no expression on his face, he looks around the kitchen which has a few maids here and there and leans closer "I am but shh it's a secret"
my eyes widen
woah
he's cooler than Batman!
"what am I thinking right now then?" I cross my arms over my chest
"How I'm cooler than Batman"
I gasp loudly "holy moly!"
one of the older maids Maria laughs at us and I turn to see some others giggle quietly as well
"What?" I ask Maria confused
"sweetie he's not a mind reader you accidentally said 'he was cooler than Batman' out loud" she chuckles
I turn, shocked, to Julio who just looks amused
"How could you get my hopes up like that? I was going to get us matching superhero outfits!" I say making him throw his head back, as he laughs loudly with a few other maids
"traitors all of you" I shake my head
"ah sweet little Belle" Julio chuckles "I'll make you brownies"
"yay!" I squeal just as Kill comes in
"you have not finished!" I tell him before he can say anything
he crosses his arms "You don't know that"
"yes I do it's been 20 minutes and you had at least 45 minutes of paperwork alone"
"what can I say I'm just super fast" he smirks
I scoff "So if I looked on your computer right now there'd be nothing left?"
he sighs and walks back out to go back to his office while I giggle at him
I turn back around to see Julio with a smirk and a few of the maids with shocked faces
"What?"
"Nothing dear" Maria shakes her head and gets back to work
"I'm going to watch 'Top Gear'" I say lifting out my arms as Julio lifts me down
"have fuuun" he sings
"you tooo" I sing back as head out
I flop down on the couch and let out a sigh as I switch the TV on and change it over to my new favourite thing to watch
I watch it for a while before my eyes start to drop
I'm almost fully asleep when I feel a familiar body pick me up and take me to bed
he kisses my forehead "goodnight baby"
he kisses my bump "Be good for Mama little princess" I hear before I'm fully asleep
dead to the world
