Today Belles coming to the mansion to see everyone again

she was there around 3 weeks ago but she says she misses everyone again so obviously we're going

"Baby, are you ready?" I call out as I put on my jacket

"yesss" she skips over to me

I hold her face in my hands and peck her lips

"my pretty baby"

she smiles up at me with glistening eyes and kisses my cheek

I could look at her all-day

I take her hand and lead her to my car

"I had a dream last night" she chirps

"oh yeah?"

"mhmm you were in it"

i smirk "Oh really?"

"yeah, we were being chased by a giant evil doughnut"

my smirk drops into an amused smile

"We were?" I open her door and help her in before getting in the driver's seat

"yep and you saved me"

"I'm glad baby"

"Enzo was there" my head snaps to hers

"he was" I grit my teeth

"yeah he got eaten by an evil cupcake though"

I let out a breath "That's because he's stupid enough to get eaten by a cupcake angel"

"Kill that's mean, he's not ... that stupid"

I laugh at her and put my hand on her thigh

she starts playing 'Thievery Corporation' music over the car and she sings along

we make it to the mansion, I hand the keys to my valet and take Belles's hand as I lead her inside

she sees Enzo straight away and his face lights up as he goes over to hug her

"BELLE!"

"ENZO!" she giggles copying him as she jumps in his arms

by now a few more of my men have come out to see her

word gets around fast

Julio comes out of the kitchen with a massive smile

While Belle was staying here, her favourite room was the kitchen so she and Julio spent a lot of time together

Belle runs over to hug him

he whispers something in her ear before they break apart making her squeal and run into the kitchen while he laughs, following her

after getting any important notices from Enzo I follow them into the kitchen and see Belle sitting on the island eating a brownie while Julio catches her up on 'mansion gossip'

you'd think that a mansion full of mafia men wouldn't get have gossip but you would be wrong

these men are like teenage girls with their gossip

and since Julio is the chef he overhears most of the conversations

Belles never had more than two friends before so it's nice that she gets to experience what it would have been like if she had grown up as a normal teenage girl

"STOP IT!" I hear her squeal

"I am being deadly serious he got his girlfriend mixed up with someone else, she dumped him on the spot in front of everyone" Julio nods at her

"What happened to the girl he thought was his girlfriend?" she asks taking another brownie

"she went home with him then left before he woke up the next morning and took his watch and all the cash from his wallet!"

Belle and Julio burst out laughing while I watch them with a smile on my face

"and the worst part is the girls didn't even look alike, his girlfriend was Spanish and the other girl was Korean with her hair dyed red!"

They burst out laughing again

I shake my head and go to my office to catch up on any work

a few minutes later Enzo comes in "Kill you have to choose the new recruits and it's been moved up to today because of the war going on between the Spanish and Russian mafias"

"what's that got to do with me?" I ask him

"a lot of the other mafias are choosing sides and joining the war, it's just best to be prepared"

"Alright, when do I have to go?"

he taps on his iPad "2 hours"

I nod "alright get a car ready I'll take Belle with me"

he nods and leaves

I work for another hour or so when I hear loud music playing

I sigh, put my pen down and go to find out what's going on

I see a bunch of men laughing by the door of the kitchen

I walk through them and see Julio and Belle singing to Pink Floyd together as they dance on the kitchen island with wooden spoons as microphones

I rub my cheek trying to cover my smile at their performance

Julio is a year younger than me so I'm not surprised they get along since he's one of the closest in age to Belle and he has a similar personality

I found Julio on the street when he was 19 and brought him back, as it turns out he's a really good cook so he became the chef here for decent pay and a place to live

once their performance is finished everyone is laughing

I pick my Belle off of the counter as Julio jumps down

"I have to go and pick out some recruits in an hour do you want to come?"

"Really?" she smiles

I nod

"yes please!"

I chuckle at her and lead her out of the kitchen

"BYE JULIO" she calls out

"BYE BELLE" he shouts back making her giggle

we go to my office for another 30 minutes before it's time to leave
