POV Izuku
"Deku, wake up!!!"
His body trembled more and more.
"You're having a nightmare. You're safe. I won't hurt you."
Izuku snapped his eyes open. Everything around him was dim. His breathing was intermittent. Wherever he was, it wasn't the room in the club.
As soon as he felt hands on his shoulders, a new wave of panic swept over him. He grabbed his adversary's arms and tried to push him away. Green lightning flashed around his body and he gripped tightly.
"Izu, calm down. It's all right. No one can hurt you here. Do you hear me?"
"K-Kacchan?"
"Yes, try to relax."
In the dim glow of the bedside lamp, the omega finally realized who was holding him. He pulled back his quirk, closed his eyes, and lowered his arms. His breathing was intermittent, almost panting.
"Whatever you just saw didn't happen," the alpha tried to reassure him.
"Y-yet it did," Izuku hiccupped. Tears streamed down his face.
"No, it was just a dream. This is reality." Kacchan let go of his shoulders and sat on the edge of the bed.
The Omega shook his head and pushed himself up. "N-not just a dream, a-a memory."
Katsuki froze. After taking a noisy breath, he asked, "Can I give you a hug?"
Izuku nodded slowly. He could really use some comfort right now. The blond hero gently embraced him. The omega returned the hug hesitantly. Scraps of the nightmare were still buzzing through his mind.
As soon as he smelled Kacchan's pheromones, he calmed down and buried his face against his neck. "Y-you smell so g-good," Izuku murmured with a sigh.
For a brief moment, the alpha tensed. He pulled the green-haired man a little tighter against him.
They sat like that for a while. "You should try to get some more sleep. It's the middle of the night."
Izuku shook his head. "I'm afraid to close my e-eyes again."
"Nothing will happen to you here. I swear to you."
Kacchan sounded so sincere that a pleasant shiver ran through the omega. "C-can you..."No, he couldn't ask him that.
"Can I what?"
"It's g-good," Izuku evaded.
Katsuki broke away from the grenette and looked deep into his eyes. "Tell me what I can do to help you. I'm sure it's not a bad request."
Izuku felt his cheeks grow hot. Luckily, only the small bedside lamp was on and Kacchan wouldn't notice. "Can you s-sleep with me? I don't want to b-be alone right now."
The alpha didn't move and remained silent.
With every second that he didn't say anything, the omega wanted to sink deeper into the ground. "F-forget about it, it was a s-stupid request."
"No!" Katsuki immediately groaned. "I was just thinking about whether it was appropriate to let you sleep in my bed or not. We can barely fit into this one together without having to lie half on top of each other. My bed is much bigger and you could keep more distance if you wanted to. I just don't want you to get the wrong idea or feel uncomfortable."
"It w-wouldn't make me u-uncomfortable. I like the smell o-of you. It calms me down."
"Then may I carry you next door?" Katsuki asked.
