"I'm an even-steven type person," Eugene said quietly, "You help me find the supplies, we'll share the battery and-"
That's when I stopped listening, glancing at Glenn to see him rolling his eyes.

Don't get me wrong; Eugene is a good guy and so incredibly smart but he talks about the most ridiculous stuff. I mean really, who cares about the dinosaurs? They died like...a long time ago.

Tara stepped in front of me, causing me to scowl at her back but when Glenn perked up for the first time in days, I looked around her and saw the sign.

Glenn, go to Terminus. Maggie, Sasha, Bob.

The blood was dry but honestly, that didn't matter. What mattered was that we were going the right way and it seemed as if we were catching up.

"This is good!" I exclaimed, "Glenn w-" I stopped when he started running, running faster than I had ever seen him run and I pursed my lips, "No, no. That's fine. I'll just...I'll catch up."

*****************

I don't know how long we had been running for but we soon slowed to a walk and we came across a place that we could all take a little breather.

"Oh God," I huffed, putting my hands on my knees, "I haven't ran that much since I was in high school. I...I think I'm dying."

Tara and Rosita let out little laugh while Glenn was still walking.

"Hold up!" Abraham yelled, "We stop here!"

"What?" Glenn said in disbelief, "It's barely noon!"

"I don't give a monkey's left nut," Abraham continued, making me smile. This guy was just full of creative comebacks, "We haven't slept more than a few hours straight. This place looks safe and we need to rest."

Tara glanced at me with a shrug.

"I get it, you have to find her. Well Rosita and me, we got a mission too. Which is getting that man, to Washington. So we're going into that tower and we're doing it now."

We looked up when we heard the sound of a walker snarling, seeing it staggering it's way to the ledge.

"Hey watch out!"

When Eugene just stared at it and didn't move, I quickly ran forward and pushed him out of the way, Glenn then pulled me back and Abraham stepped in front of Eugene, which caused him to step back into Tara, who fell to the ground.

Talk about a series of unfortunate events.

The walker fell while Rosita and I went to Tara's aid, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," she groaned, holding her knee.

"You sure?" Glenn asked, steadying her, "Do you want to stop now or keep going?"

"Keep going. I'm fine."

"Are you sure?" I asked, "We can stop if you need to."

Glenn looked up at the others, "Look, if she can keep going, we can all keep going." When no one said anything, he sighed, "Or you can stay here. You don't need us and we don't need you."

"Glenn," I began, about to say that we should stop. Tara was clearly in pain but I was interrupted by Rosita.

"You're an ass. She will do anything that you two say because she thinks that she owes you. Man up and stay here for a few hours."

"She's right, Glenn."

He shook his head and stood in front of Abraham, "All you care about is keeping Eugene safe, right? That's why you want to stop? We go until sundown and I give my riot gear. Right here, right now."
