"Y-Y/N..?"

A nervous Ragatha was hovering over the limp body.

Jax remained silent and stood a distance away.

"Don't worry my dear friend. She is just unconscious." Caine reassured Ragatha.

"You sure?" She turned to Caine. He nodded.

Gangle made an anxious sound.

"I am approximately 36.11% sure!"

Ragatha started twiddling her thumbs and looked back at Y/N.

"Best thing to do is to let her be." Caine snapped his fingers and Y/N teleported to her bed in her room.

Everyone gave each other nervous glances.

"What's say we have some dinner? I'll bet Bubble has prepared something tremendously delightful for all of us this wonderful evening."

Bubble appeared with scorch marks all over him.

"Ah, Bubble! We were just wondering what you have made us tonight!"

"The oven's busted." Bubble was staring into space, looking traumatized.

"Well then, that's too bad! You all will have to go without dinner tonight it seems!"

"Hooray. Starvation. Woo." Zooble said sarcastically.

"It appears so, Zooble!" Caine replied.

"We should just be optimistic about this situation." Ragatha piped up.

"I'm already optimistic. I dunno about you guys, but I was getting tired of hearing Y/N yap on and on about 'exits' and her family." Jax walked toward everyone else.

"That's not very nice." Gangle tearily stated.

"I'm not very nice."

"Did someone say lice? I have some of those in my insect collection!" Kinger hobbled over.

"Wow~ I never knew." Zooble mumbled, rolling her eyes.

"Guys, we should just all go to bed. It's been a long day and we all deserve some sleep." Ragatha suggested. Then everyone started over into the hallway.

Jax was walking by Ragatha and noticed her sad expression. "What's the matter, Dollface? Upset that I'm taller than you?"

"You know very well I'm over that Jax. It's that I'm worried for Y/N."

"She'll be fiiiiiine." He waved it away. "What you should be worrying about is the family of spiders I let loose in your room."

"JAX! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?"

"Just having a little fun. What else am I supposed to do? Watch paint dry on Zooble's wall?"

Ragatha looked away, then opened her room door once she got there, and went inside for bed.

Ragatha's POV:

"WAKEY WAKEY MY LITTLE CHAMPIONS!"

Caine's booming voice rung through the circus tent.

I wearily got up from my purple canopy bed and put on my dress.

"I have some news to share with you all!"

That last remark lit up a spark in my buzzing head. I hurriedly put in my bow and rushed out the door and into the main room.

"Y/N has woken up!" Caine gestured to the character beside him.

"Y/N! You're ok!" I rushed over and looked her up and down to see if she was hurt, then hugged her tightly.

"I told you she'd be fine, Dollface." Jax walked over to me and Y/N at his usual speed.

No ones POV:

Ragatha let go and was scanning Y/N's face. She sighed and hugged her again.

"I'm so glad you're safe."

"Hooray, more torture for me." Jax said sarcastically.

"Hey, Jax." Y/N looked up at Jax.

"Why hello shortie. Have a nice nap?" He bent down so he could look her in the face, mostly to exaggerate their height difference.

Y/N's POV:

"I wish." I replied.

I could feel my face getting hot. I just hoped blushing didn't exist in this world.

"Miss me?" I asked in a bored tone.

"You know I didn't." He answered with a smirk.

I chuckled to myself.

"We are so very lucky to have you back." Caine wooshed over, blocking out Jax from view.

I smiled at Caine.

"What's today's adventure?" I asked.

"I actually didn't plan one for today! I figured nobody would be in the mood with your being unconscious."

"Oh, ok. I guess I should take some time to check out my room."

"That you should! Have fun my little superstar!"

I waved to everyone then headed down the colorful hallway. I was about halfway to my door when I heard a strange sound.

'Footsteps?' I thought. I whirled around and heard air whooshing, but nothing was in sight. I shrugged and kept walking.

I finally got to my room and opened the golden, round handle.

I screamed at the first thing I saw.
