Jax and Y/N heard Ragatha scream from her bedroom about 15 minutes later. Both started laughing and giggling.
"JAX IT'S NOT FUNNY!"
That only made the two laugh harder, but they both stopped dead when they heard angry stomping approaching.
"Brace yourself, kid." Jax lightly nudged Y/N.
"WHY DID YOU- Y/N??!!" Ragatha was fuming mad.
Y/N nervously chuckled. "H-Hi~" She slowly waved.
"I can't believe you two teamed up together against me."
"Just a little prank. You'll get over it." Jax waved it away.
"Don't, do that, again." She mumbled gravely, then walked off. Y/N gulped.
Jax snickered. "There's more where that came from, Dollface~" He called after her.
"No, literally. He has like 20 more in his pocket right now." Y/N added.
She looked up and grinned at him. Jax smiled back.
"That was actually pretty fun." She admitted.
"Of course it is." He aloofly replied. "Who doesn't like to watch rag doll get all mad and annoying?"
That made Y/N giggle a little bit.
Jax's POV:
'She's not too bad.' I thought.
Y/N's POV:
"Time for lunch my little superstars!" Caine exclaimed. Everyone made their way to the table and sat down.
I didn't hesitate to sit by Jax.
"Yum, pizza." I picked up the pie and took a big bite out of it. I looked over and saw that Jax also got pizza.
I slowly looked up and at his face.
'He's so cute..' I thought to myself, but just then Jax glanced over and I immediately shifted my gaze back to my pizza. I could feel my cheeks getting warm.
No one's POV:
"Well my dear friends, we'll be back to adventures by tomorrow!" Caine told everyone. Zooble groaned. "That's the spirit, Zooble!" He pointed at her. She rolled her eyes.
"I'll just be happy to be busy again." Ragatha commented.
Everyone finished eating their digital lunches and cleaned up their plates.
Jax glanced at Ragatha and his eyes widened.
"What is it Jax?" Y/N looked over to Ragatha as well, then she saw what he was staring at.
A centipede was crawling up her arm.
Jax and Y/N were struggling to not burst out laughing.
"Jax?" Ragatha sighed. "What did you do this time?"
Y/N's eyes were filled with tears as she was holding in laughter.
"Y/N? What are you two looking at?"
"I think you missed a spot." Jax pointed to her shoulder.
She looked over and saw the centipede's head inches away from her own.
Ragatha screamed.
"GET THIS OFF OF ME RIGHT NOW, JAX!"
"Mmm, no I don't think I will. I like to watch you panic." He replied with an evil smirk.
Ragatha stiffened up and her face turned red with anger.
"Jax.. Now." She demanded through gridded teeth.
Jax sighed. "Fine.."
He walked over and picked up the centipede and set it in his pocket. Ragatha growled and stormed off in anger.
"Yeah, I could get used to this." Y/N said coolly.
