They Still Think This is a Dream (Jax x Reader)

Dancing 101

"Ok, now you hold onto my shoulders. Don't be shy!"

For the last half an hour, Ragatha was busy teaching Y/N how to dance while the others were getting dressed and ready for the prom.

Y/N hesitantly reached up and held onto the ragdoll's shoulders, then Ragatha gently held Y/N's waist, making her jump since she wasn't used to this kind of physical contact.

"Don't be nervous! Try to loosen up or you'll end up tripping."

"My bad."

"You're ok! Now we just kinda sway back and forth..."

Soon, Y/N got used to this new sensation and settled down a bit and began to sway with Ragatha.

"Great! Now try stepping like this.."

Ragatha moved her feet in a slightly complex motion that Y/N tried to follow.

"This is a little harder than I thought it would be." She commented.

"You've got nothing to worry about! Once you've gotten used to it more, the easier and less nerve-racking it'll be." Ragatha reassured.

Y/N nodded. Then continued to follow the steps.

A few moments later, Ragatha spoke up. "I think we're ready to move on to the more 'dramatic' stuff."

"H-how dramatic?" Y/N asked in a soft and slightly distressed tone.

"Not too horribly. We're just gonna work on some spins and dips."

"DIPS?!" She exclaimed.

"Yep! But that's for later. Now we're gonna work on some spins. I need you to hold onto my left hand with your right one for this."

Y/N reached out and did as she was told.

"Now, I'm gonna stretch you out here-" Ragatha extended her arm, making Y/N lead to the left as she let out a nervous sound.

"Ok, this is important. I'm gonna lift up my arm as high as I can, and I need you to use that as a boost to do a small spin towards me."

"Wait I don't think I'm ready for-"

But before Y/N could finish, the ragdoll lifted her arm up and Y/N used it to pull herself towards her, spinning elegantly as she went. Ragatha caught Y/N in her arms.

"That was wonderful! You're so good at this!"

A smile broadened across Y/N's face, but it quickly disappeared when Ragatha grabbed onto Y/N's leg and lifted it up, then supported her back, doing a perfect dip.

"Hang on!" Ragatha exclaimed as she felt Y/N's hands shaking.

"YOU- I- I WASN'T PREPARED FOR THAT!" Y/N exclaimed.

"Exactly! You always gotta be ready for a sudden dip. Now let's try putting that spin and dip together.."

Ragatha and Y/N practiced for the next hour, doing spins, dips and all sorts of things, then it was finally time for Y/N to get ready in her best dapper attire. She thanked Ragatha and waved through the doorway as she went on her way to her own room.
