When the lights in the hospital came back on, I made my way to my office to make some ugrent phone calls. There was a knock on my door and I looked up from my phone call.

"Mom?" I ask squinting.

I put the phone call on hold and wave her along with the kids into my office.

"What are you guys doing here?" I ask her. "Why is Bella out of the house?" I ask worriedly.

"A police officer came to house and told us we had to go." Terrell said sitting down on my office couch.

"The police?" I ask grabbing my celephone.

I start testing Devale. He should've been out of surgery hours ago.

Hey where are you?

"I don't know they just told me to get the kids and go. Said they got notified of suspicious activity." My mom said shrugging.

"You guys stay up here, I'm gonna go find Devale." I said totally forgetting about prvious phone call.

I stepped out of my office and went down to the OR. It was still dark down there, nobody was inside. I started to walk backwards when the OR door opened.

"Devale!" I call out feeling relieved.

He turned out and noticed that it wasn't his heart transplant patient on the stretcher, but it was Morris.

"What the hell happened?" I ask as I following him to the elevator.

"I will come to office and we can talk about it-"

"No we can talk about it now." I said looking between him and a silent Durrell.

"Don't worry Crystal, I'm fine." Morris said weakly.

I shook my head in confusion.

"What the hell happened?" I grabbing Devale's face.

He sighed and looked at Durrell who was holding the elevator.

"Go up Durrell, I'm right behind you." He said.

Durrell let the elevator close and I never took my eyes off Devale. He was hot and sweaty, like he'd been surgery all day. His eyes were wandering around the area and he kept looking behind himself, scared of something.

"Did you know we had a black out upstairs?" I ask him.

He nodded his head. "Yeah we got it down here. But, we managed to finish the heart transplant, while we were being held at gunpoint." He said making me widen my eyes.

"Gun point!"

"Shh be quiet." He said. "Look some guy came, said he was looking for Terrell. I sent him to our house-"

"You did what?"

"Look, I had to get him out of here before Morris died. But I alerted our security through my apple watch so that the cops would--"

I put my hands up and stoppped him from talking. There was too much being put on me at once.

"You were held at gun point and then Morris got shot, then you sent the man to our home where our children live? Why?" I ask him shaking my head.

"Because I knew that the police would get there in time and get our kids out of the house safely. He said he's Terrell's dad. That girl Rachel, that's his mom." I said shaking my head.

I ran my hands over over my face and took a deep breath. "Well they're here and everyone is safe but the police are at our house. What if there's a shoot out or somethin-"
