Chapter 33
4x08

At the lab, Abby was running some test on a man who tried to harm Murphy, Emorie, and Clarke. She had injected him with Nightblood. They were just sticking him into a radiation filled room.

At first, he was fine. Then he got worse the more radiation we put in him. He began getting like Luna did. Then he died.

They were talking about the guy who they had just killed. Then they realized Emorie had lied to them about who he really was.

But she made the decision of who was gonna be tested on next, very easy.

Murphy wasn't gonna let that happen, so they had to lock him up.

No one felt rights about putting Emorie in the chamber. But they had to. They had no other options. Praimfaya would be upon them in 10 days.

Luna refused to give her blood. The was gonna walk out of the lab, but Roan stopped her.

Sage was looking down as Abby and Raven extracted Luna's stem cells to make Nightblood. Roan came into her room.

"You ok?" He asked her.

"Yeah." Sage said. "Are you?"

"Nightbloods. You think I'd have learned my lesson after having to deal with Lexa." Roan looked down and saw exactly what Sage was seeing. "You tired to kill yourself."

"No." Sage shook her head. "It's just... I have these episode sometimes when I'm stressed. My mom, who got a degree in sociology before she decided to be an engineer, thought it was like short circuit in my brain when it is overwhelmed." He just looked at her. "I had some 'episodes' when I was younger. Like when I failed a test, or my grandma die. I didn't have any for a few more year, until I found out my mom and dad die. Then not again until now, with the whole end of the world thing. And I've never told anyone that before." She looked back down at Luna.

"We're doing the right thing." He told her.

"How can you be so sure of that?" Sage asked Roan

"How can you be so sure of that?" Sage asked Roan.

"Certainty's a luxury leaders can't afford." Roan said.

"I no King." Sage stated.

"Maybe not, but you were born for this. More than Clarke or Abby." Roan walked closer to Sage. "Lexa knows it, and so do I. You don't back down when things get hard."
