We'll Meet Again (Clementine x Fem!reader)

Season 1 Final

"Will you finally tell me how you know everything?"

2nd person

You, Clem, and Lee walk out the building to the front and see that the streets are still filled with walkers. With your eyesight, it is hard to see clearly as the sun has fully settled, making the moon the only reliable source of light.

Lee: "Let's go." He whispers.

Before taking off, Lee gestures Clem in between you two so she'll be the most protected. She shivers at how cold it is and Lee ushers her closer to you as he, himself, no longer has the normal body heat temperature of a human being.

Lee takes the lead and makes sure to keep you two no farther than a few inches away, using his hand and arms as a guide. Half-way through the cross, you and Lee are slightly bumped into by two walkers who don't notice your scent. Clem gasps quietly and clings onto your arm. She looks up at your face and smiles slightly, but quickly turns pale and scared when she looks past you to an alleyway nearby, she stops and continues to stare at the alleyway.

Y/N: "What is it?" You whisper.

She doesn't answer and you can tell she looks like she wants to cry, but refuses to do so. You and Lee turn to the alleyway to see what she's staring at. Near the alleyway, there's many walkers but four of them stand out. The more you stare, the more you see it...

Mom. Dad.

You furrow your eyes and can feel tears wanting to come out, but you stand strong. You turn to Clem and she whispers with a shaky voice.

Clementine: "My parents..."

You look back at the alleyway to see the other two familiars standing still, groaning.

Those must be her parents.

Lee: "Clem, Y/n, don't..."

As he tries to finish his sentence, he collapses on the ground and attracts some attention from the walkers, but they look away. Before Clem could make any noise, you hold your pointer finger to your lips, silencing her. She covers her mouth and you both look around.

Clementine: "Over there!" She whispers in a hush.

You see where she points at and it's a store with a metal roll-up door. Luckily it's slightly open, and possibly enough for a man to fit through.

Y/N: "Help me."

You and Clem lift Lee's arm and start to slowly drag him to the store. Every now and then, a walker would stare for a few moments and quickly lose interest. After a few painful minutes of dragging and waiting, you and Clem were able to drag Lee into the store. As you stand on the handle to make the door fully shut, Clem shakes Lee to try to wake him up.

Clementine: "Lee, wake up."

Once the door slams down shut, you turn around to see Clem shaking Lee. All of a sudden you realize...

Clem doesn't know Lee's bitten.

Shit.

Clementine: "Lee! Please don't be dead, please no."

With that, you both watch as Lee quickly opens his eyes. On pure instinct, you rush to Clem and slightly pull her back but Lee's still alive, thankfully.
