He's Bitten

"Bitten or not, I'm with you to the end. You can count on me."

You all made it back to the house unscathed, somehow your leg wasn't hurting too much as it was a few hours ago. Christa, Vernon, Lee, Molly, Kenny, Clem, Duck, and you rushed up the stairs to check on Omid. Christa burst through the door and you all saw a possibly-dead Omid lying on the bed spread out.

Christa: "Omid!"

She rushes to his side, and holds his hand. Clem and Duck get scared and cling to your shelves.

Lee: "Stay back you three. Don't get any closer."

Y/N: "Well... more like them two." You point to each side of you.

Lee: "Not the time."

Y/N: "Right..."

You watch as Christa cries by Omid's side.

Christa: "I never should have left you... I'm so sorry."

Vernon: "Christa, get away from him!"

She doesn't listen and Omid's head slowly lifts up. Lee rushes to Christa and pulls her back, but Omid look at her with sleepy eyes, he's alive.

Omid: "Hey, back already?" He smiles.

Christa: "We got you medicine." She sighs from relief.

Omid: "Good, feel like I could use some."

Vernon walks over to his side and hands him some pills to take, in which he does.

Omid: "Where's Ben?"

Christa: "He didn't make it." She looks down in shame.

Omid: "What happened?"

Before anyone could say anything, you took Clem and Duck out of the room.

Duck: "Hey, I wanted to know..."

Y/N: "I'm pretty sure you don't."

You see Molly going down the stairs, and decide to strike a conversation.

Y/N: "Duck, take Clem to the room."

Duck: "Where are you going?"

Y/N: "Talk to Molly."

Duck: "Okay." He shrugs. "Let's go Clem."

You watch as Clem and Duck walk to the room and feel a tap on your shoulder, it's Molly.

Molly: "Hey."

Y/N: "Hey."

Molly: "I'm about to head out.... Like leaving."

Y/N: "What? Why?"

Molly: "I'm sorry." She kneels to your height. "I've been thinking of this whole boat-plan over, and I can't help but feel better on my own."
