Chapter 16 : Finally Meet You Faker

Normal POV

Shadow and the others are now fighting off yet another army of armors to destroy which is a little more difficult than the last robot army but that won't stop the gang from kicking thier metal buttocks.

"Shadow you think now's a good time to use your Chaos Blast attack again?"

"I used up most of my chaos energy on that move so it'll take some time till I can use that move again Sonic."

"Damn it how are we ever going to save Amy with these useless heaps of scrap metal?!

Knuckles uses his Drill Attack to dig through a buffy robot causing it to explode.

"Alright I have enough! You guys hold off the robot freaks while I go get Amy myself!"

"Let me come with you Shadow."

Sonic spin dashes through a group of robots.

"Don't worry hedgehog I can take care of myself and I'm certain that I can take Eggman down on my own strength."

Shadow attacks some robots with his Chaos Spears.

"But you have no idea of how strong he is and what he's capable of while I do more than anyone. And it's my fault that she's captured since Eggman is using her to make me fall for his trap so it's my responsibility to stop him and his plans. And plus Amy would be devastated if you got hurt or worse killed so I have to protect you so Amy won't be more depressed than what she is now."

"Okay...maybe Sonic really was sorry for breaking Amy's heart after all. I can see why Amy fell in love with him. I guess I could let Amy forgive Sonic."

Shadow smiled at Sonic who was surprised but smiled anyhow.

"Alright you can you can come with me so we can save Amy together."

"Awesome thanks Shadow."

"You're welcome Sonic."

"Be careful you two."

"Good luck."

"Show Eggface what you're made of."

"Thanks you guys. Let's go."

"Right."

Sonic and Shadow spin dashed through the robots that were I'm thier way and starts dashing to find Amy leaving the others trashing the robots.

"Don't worry my rose we're almost there."

Time Skip

Sonic was leading Shadow to the room where Amy is certain that she is in there since he had been in the lair hundreds of times that he could picture a map of the entire lair created by his imagination. The hedgehogs kicked the door opened to see Amy in the capsule with a sad look on her face looking at the floor. When she notices Sonic and Shadow she was shocked that that the blue hedgehog had actually came to her rescue and worried that they're here about to fall from Eggman's trap and get hurt from the "ultimate weapon". Shadow was about to run towards her but Sonic held him back.

"What is it now Sonic? Amy's right there with no robots getting in our way."

"We can't just rush to her. This is one of Eggman's many, obvious traps so we need to be on our gaurd."

"S-sonic...you-"

"No time Amy we need to get you out of here before Eggman comes."

"Too late...he's already here."

"That's right you ratty hedgehogs and now that you fallen for the bait it's time to destroy you once and for all with my new creation."

"Come out here and bring your nerd toy right here Eggman!"

Eggman comes out from hiding in the shadows grinning showing his shiny white teeth with a robot that looks exactly like Sonic except he has red eyes with black sclera. The pink, blue, and black hedgehog stand there with thier eyes widen with shock. The robot just stared at Sonic like he wants to tear him apart so badly but unfortunately for him he had to wait for his master's orders to do so.

"You made a robot that looks like my twin?! You must really have a lot of crazy issues of me!"

"Not only I made him identical to you I also made him have the same speed, skills, and fast reflexes. Since my other pitiful robots can't take you down I have to make one that'll make you look like you're fighting your own reflection but he's a little more stronger than you. His name is Metal Sonic."

"Once again you couldn't think of an even better name."

"I don't believe that anyone was talking to you you pink rat!"

"What kind of monster are you you freak?!"

"So you must be Shadow the Hedgehog and I see why you're parents named you that since you have dark fur. I'm sure you know that my name is Dr . Eggman and I'm the world's greatest evil mad scientist who's dream is to make my own empire and make Eggmanland to conquer the world."

"Why can't you understand that you can't win and you'll never will no matter how hard you work on working on all of your robots! Get a happier life by letting Amy go and put the past behind you!"

"I will never give up till I destroy you Sonic and that's that!"

"Just please let Amy go she's just an innocent girl and my best friend!"

"Well isn't that sweet that you care for that rat...NOT!"

"You heartless monster!!"

"Enough with the worthless talking time for you to be Metal Sonic's first two opponents so you better be ready."

"Please don't hurt them Eggman!"

"Don't worry about us Amy we can take this faker down and make him wish he had never been born...I mean created."

"Good luck you guys."

"Thanks Amy. You're ready for one of the best battles yet?"

"Yep let's do this."

"Metal Sonic this is an order...destroy Sonic and Shadow with no mercy."

Metal Sonic, Sonic and Shadow got into thier fighting positions. Who will win the battle? You have to continue at the next chapter to see the outcome...I think...don't know.

Hey everyone!!!!
So sorry for the very long wait for this chapter it's just having 6 other people plus one that visits here to stay for a few days in the house that I'm temporarily staying it's difficult to concentrate on the chapters. And the name of the chapter is a reference to the cutscene in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle when Sonic and Shadow would fight in the the forest in Prison Island. Hope you guys like it.
