Chapter 4 : Heartbrokened

Amy's POV

After detention me and Shadow walked out of the room to the entrance exiting the school. In detention me and Shadow were getting to know each other by telling our favorite stuff and other things like that...but Shadow still didn't talk about his father. I'm worried about what what his father is going to do to him when he gets back home and I know Shadow is way more worried than I am. I said that I want to walk him home to meet his father but Shadow strongly refused. He said that he doesn't want his father to hurt me and let her watch him getting his punishment which I thought that was very sweet of him. He's a very nice guy and I just don't get why people hate him for who he is. Unfortunately we had to go our separate ways since I have to go the opposite direction that Shadow has to take to get home. Why am I so sad that I'm leaving Shadow for the day? SNAP OUT OF IT MYSELF! Anyways...

"So...umm...it was really nice to get to know you Shadow."

"It was nice getting to know you too Amy...and...I'm sorry you got into my mess...you're friends are probably upset about that because of me."

"Don't blame yourself for being innocent Shadow.And if my friends are saying bad things to you I will always stay by your side all the way."

Shadow smiled the biggest smile I ever seen which makes me smile whenever he smiles. " Thanks Amy...that means a lot to me."

"You're welcome Shadow...and Shadow...if anything bad happens to you please call me so I can help you any way I can. I'll give you my phone number."

Shadow's smile immediately fade away and has a depressed look on his face.

"No Amy you can't help me. I know you care for me but...just don't...you have no idea what I'm going through in my life and I don't want you to get involved. And don't worry I get abuse by my father hundreds of times so I'm used to it and I'll make it to school tomorrow."

"Promise?"

"Am-"

"You told me that you never break your promises so if that's true then I'm certain that you'll come to school tomorrow in one piece."

Shadow was quiet for a moment then sighs.

"Okay I promise cross my heart."

"Great!"

Then without me knowing I hugged Shadow who was surprised and hugged me back but when I realized what I'm doing I let go instantly blushing in embarrassment. Man I hope no one saw that!

"Sorry Shadow I didn't even know I was hugging you it was an accident."

"It's alright Amy. That was the first time I ever been hugged ever since my mom died who was the complete opposite of my dad and it felt...nice."

"Aww I'm sorry Shadow..."

"It's alright Amy. Anywho...it's getting late and I think we should say our farewells. My father would start getting really upset and impatient."

"Okay bye Shadow remember the promise we made!"

"Bye and I will!"

We both go to our separate ways leading to our homes.

*5 mins later*

I was walking through the park on my way to school but then I saw, my precious Sonikku sitting on a park bench eating a chili dog. I know I really need to go home where my mom is waiting for me most likely really angry...but...my Sonikku always come first. I don't care if Sonic doesn't have the same feelings for me and people says that I'm trying to force him to love me. I know that Sonic loves me back deep inside him...I can feel it...we're destined to be dating and get married and have our own children. I could see it now...our relationship will be so romantic! I go hide behind a tree so Sonikku won't see me which, thank Mobian god he didn't then I sneaked behind Sonikku and I tackled him to the ground which caused him to drop his favorite food.When he realized that I'm on top of him, he rolled his eyes a little sad that his chili dog ruined on the ground.

"Hey Ames."

"Hello Sonikku!"

"Now that the greetings is out of the way can you get off of me please?"

"Oops sorry Sonikku...I just missed you so much since I had a detention."

When I got off of Sonic he stands up and wipes the dirt from his body.

"Oh yeah that's right...it was really brave of you to stand up to my cousin and his gang to protect T."

"Thank you! Finally someone who isn't against me protecting Shadow."

"So...do you really think Shadow is not the things that the people in school say about them."

"Of course I do...and I understand you don't agree with me Sonikku...Shadow is a really nice person and he never break his promises."

"Really? He sounds not that bad at all...and don't worry I don't hate Shadow that much and anyone who friends with you is a friend of mine."

I smiled and hugged Sonic tight enough to lose his breath.

"Thanks Sonikku...I knew that you'd be by my side."

"No problem Ames...well...you should probably get home since your mother is waiting for you at home...so...see you tomorrow."

My Sonikku is about to go away until I grabbed his arm stopping him.

"Wait Sonikku...can I ask you a favor please."

"Sure Amy...what is it?"

"Can we go out on a date this Saturday...we can go to Twinkle Park or the pizzeria."

"Ummm gee would you look at the time...well I guess I better get going by Ames."

Sonikku starts to run away from me which pissess me off so badly that my body is on fire in anger and I pulled out my Piko Piko hammer. I began to chase him so I can beat his butt for not answering my favor
He WILL pay!

"SONIC GET BACK HERE BEFORE I BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF YOU! "

I chased Sonic to the beach but Sonic stopped on his tracks.

"I GOT YOU NOW SONIC!"

I was about to hit Sonic's giant head until Sonic swirled around to look at me with an angry look on his face.

"AMY STOP! THAT'S IT! I HAVE ENOUGH OF YOU PESTERING ME ABOUT YOU FORCING ME TO LOVE YOU THIS WAY! DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT I ONLY LIKE YOU AS A COMRADE AND A FRIEND! IF YOU CAN'T ACCEPT FOR WHAT I FEEL THEN JUST STAY OUT OF MY WAY AND STAY OUT OF MY LIFE!"

Then without waiting for me to respond to the hurtful things he said to me he ran off without looking back. My words couldn't describe how much those words crushed my heart until it exploded. My heart was broken into tiny pieces. I felt a lot of tears streaming from my eyes. I ran away crying in agony not going back home to my mother as rain starts to fall down.

Hello everyone!!!
Thanks for being patient for this chapter to be published. Sadly spring break is over and it's time to go back to school. WHYYYY?!!!!And what's even more sad is that I did a bad job on a test on Tuesday. I got like a D+ and that's my starting grade on pinacle. Do you know how much I have to bring that up? But luckily my teacher is giving me the opportunity to redo the questions I got wrong so it will probably go up...I hope. Anyway...I'll try to publish the next chapter like next week. Until then....
