Normal POV
In Egg man's lair, Amy is in a capsule with barely any room to move around still unconscious from the beating from the poorly named robot, the Destructionbot. Eggman came into the room where Amy is held captive with an evil smirk on his face looking at her. He walked towards her and kept tapping the capsule until Amy opened her emerald eyes regaining consiousness. When she notices Eggman, she weakly death glared at him. Eggman just dome his signature grin showing that he's not scare of her.
"Hello sleeping beauty."
"Don't call me that you jerk! And what the hell do you want from me?!"
"To use you as bait to lure Sonic into my evil trap. This time I WILL destroy Sonic."
"Sonic wouldn't save me."
"How can you be so sure about that...did something happened between the two of you?"
"That's none of your damn business and you're just wasting your time keeping me in here since you're never going to win like always!"
"I wouldn't count on that since I have a new trick up my sleeve that will sure to dominate the annoying blue rat once and for all!"
"Sonic's not the only one that you should worry about Eggman."
"Is that so, then who is this person you're talking about?"
"I'm talking about Shadow the Hedgehog. He definitely would come here to rescue me and beat the crap out of you for sure."
"Shadow hmm? He must be a very dark and depressing child judging by his name. I highly doubt he would even have a chance against me and doesn't sound like he could be a nuisance."
"I wouldn't underestimate him if I were you. He's tougher than you think."
"Whatever...anywho it is time for me to get my "ultimate weapon" ready for when the time is right. Have fun being cramped in the capsule being lonely."
"Just get the hell outta my face already Egghead!"
Eggman ignores Amy as he walks out of the room leaving Amy by herself again. She sighed with a sad and worried look on her face.
"Is Shadow on his way to rescue me? I don't want him to come near me. I'm scared of what the trap would be if he comes. What is Egg man's "ultimate weapon"? Whatever it is it can't be good"
Amy looked at the diamond ring Shadow gave to her, softly kisses it for good luck, and holds it close to her heart.
"I know you're coming Shadow. I'm counting on you and please be be safe. Don't let your gaurd down."
Amy prayed silently for the faith of Shadow to win the battle that could be the hardest battle that Shadow and Amy have ever experienced in thier lives. Who will win the battle and who will take the fall? All we can do is just hope for the best to come into reality.
With Shadow and the others
"Alright get ready gang Egg man's lair is straight ahead."
"About time...let's hurry up Tails before Eggman might badly hurt Amy."
"Right a-"
"U-umm T-tails....what is that purple light at the lair?"
Everyone looked to where Rouge is pointing to see a blue light shining from a giant cannon. The light in the cannon got bigger and bigger until it had been shot from the cannon forming a big beam which made the gang freak out.
"IT'S FIRING IT LASERS!"
"TAILS DO A BARREL ROLL!"
Tails drove the Tornado to do the barrel roll dodging the laser as the gang hang on the plane as tight as they can.
"Damn that was a close one."
"Must be Egg man's new security system."
"INCOMING!"
"TO THE RIGHT! TO THE RIGHT!!"
Tails drove the Tornado to do another barrel roll to the right dodging the laser just in time.
"We're not going anywhere at this rate!"
Then Shadow and the others saw golden and blue jet robots coming. towards them. Tails presses a button to shoot rockets at the jet robots which exploded. Shadow uses chaos spears to destroy the jet robots. Rouge Tornado kicked one of the robots to fly to it's friend which made them both exploded.
"Knuckles throw me and Shadow as balls through the jet robots so you can get to the lair more easier."
"Right."
The hedgehog duo rolled to thier ball forms and Knuckles grabbed them and uses his awesome strength to throw them both at the jet robots spin dashing through them then they got out of thier ball forms to begin to throw and kick the jet robots to each other. Then they landed on the ground to see a bunch of kinds of robots ready to fight them.
"You have gotta be kidding me! How many of these damn robots Eggman have?!"
"A lot more than them Shadow but there's no time to complain we need to get inside ASAP."
"Fine let's get this over with quickly."
Shadow's now destroying the robots with his chaos spears and spin dashes while Sonic is using his martial skills and his awesome speed to destroy them. Tails shot some robots to clear a path to land the Tornado safely and got out of the plane with the others and he hits the robots with his twin tails. Knuckles grabbed a robot to twirl him around in circles to the robots with it and throws it to the ocean. Rouge does her Tornado kicks to destroy the robots or knocked them to the ocean. The heroes are destroying every robot in sight but more and more them kept on coming.
"There's to many of them and I'm starting to be exhausted."
"How are we ever going to save Amy in this situation?"
"Alright I have enough of this nonsense! You guys take cover I'm about to do a powerful attack!"
Sonic and the others go near the Tornado and Tails presses a button to make a protective field around them. Then Shadow charged up his energy to make his body glow red.
"CHAOS...BLAST!!!"
Shadow unleashed the massive Shockwave which destroyed all the robots in the area. Tails turned off the protective field and the others all have shocked looks on thier faces stunned.
"Damn Shadow since when you learned to do that?"
"Since 4 years ago I guess."
"That was awesome Shadow I never knew you were that powerful."
"To be honest neither did I Sonic. Alright let's get in the lair you guys."
The team runs to the door but it is locked.
"Alright ya'll stand aside Knuckles got this one."
The others got out of Knuckles way who punched the door with his strength knocking it down.
"Nice one Knuckles."
"And that's one of the reasons why I love you so much Knuckies."
"Thanks babe."
"No time for fooling around it ain't over yet let's go team."
"Yasss!"
The heroes went inside the lair to continue on thier mission to save the rose
