Alison looked at where Derek and Janet, the adoption agency came towards where she stood near to the fired surgeon, "Where have you been? We've been trying to reach you for hours." Derek told his wife.
As inside the room, Alison and Alex were checking Zola, "I'm sorry." Meredith apologised, "Where's Zola?" The man questioned to what Meredith turned her head into the room where Zola sat playing with Alison's flashlight.
"Ever since her weekly surgery, Zola's had weekly blood tests, and uh, the results I for today were a little weird," Alex explained as Alison continued to distract Zola, "so I wanted to take a look at her."
Meredith nods her head, "And you know, with babies, I mean, when a doctor calls—I got worried, so I just rushed her right in, and I must have left my phone in the day-care centre." Meredith said as Alison nods her head, since she's put Meredith's up in the day-care center where her children currently are, "And your pager."
"My pager, I had to turn in because they fired me." Meredith admitted looking to Janet and Derek, "What's wrong with her?"
"Her white count was elevated, 14.5. I wanted to make sure there wasn't a list of infection, a CSF leak or something like that..." Alex explained. "But on my exams, she looks fine. No signs of spinal shock. I re-ran her CBC and her white count was 8, totally normal." He told them, as Zola played with the hem of Alison's lab coat. "I'm guessing it was probably a stress reactant, or maybe a fluke in the labs, because she's doing great."
Derek looked around at the group of surgeons, "It's true, CSF leaks are a problem with spina bifida babies. It's... that's great that you caught that."

Arizona came to where her wife and her wife's baby daddy looked inside where Meredith and Derek were looking at Zola, "How's it looking?"
"Can't tell." Alison answered.
"They can't just take the baby away, can they?" Mark asked as Alison looked at where her friend held the baby they wanted so badly to adopt, "I don't know." Arizona admitted truthfully.
The three surgeons sighed at that, with Alison holding onto her wife's hand. "They're not gonna find a better family then two doctors." Alison admitted as Callie who joined them, nods her head, "It's gonna be fine." She tried to assure.
Arizona looked at them, "Anybody want to go and check in on Lucile and Elizabeth?" She questioned as Alison furrowed her eyebrows, "Why?"
"Cause when somebody's talking about taking someone's baby away, you wanna see your baby." Mark stated as Alison sighed, "Oh, you guys. They're fine." She reassured them.
Arizona let go of her wife's hand starting to walk to the elevator, "I'm right behind you." Mark stated as Alison watched her two co-parents following after them.
