Lorena wasn't really a social media person. She had her Instagram account and that was it. A private account followed by 23 people wasn't anything too exciting. Even if one of the followers was a verified account with over a million followers like Fermín's. Twitter and other platforms...she didn't care about those. So she didn't realise that people now knew, or thought they knew, about her and Fermín dating. Well, they thought they were really dating. Obviously, none of them imagined the relationship was fake.
"Are you ok?"
She turned to look at Fermín, who was sitting down next to her with a worried expression. "Sure? What? Why do you look at me like that?"
"Did you see the photos?", she shook her head and so Fermín took his phone out to show her the photos and the posts. "No one knows who you are, though. But they know I'm with someone".
"Can they find out who I am?"
"Maybe? Some of these football fans are like FBI agents. And I guess people from class will talk".
Lorena sighed. She guessed it was inevitable but she wasn't super happy about it either. "Well then".
Fermín kept looking at Lorena during class. She seemed a bit distant and he worried it was because of the photos. All that resulted in him not paying attention to the professor and when he realised, Lorena had filled two and a half pages with notes.
"Can I have those later?", he asked, leaning down to whisper. Their faces were very close and he placed his hand on the back of her chair. Lorena looked at him quickly and nodded.
When Fermín moved back, he noticed a few classmates staring at them. Yeah, they were going to talk. Two classes later, it was finally time for a little break. Lorena was still very quiet and Fermín didn't like that. He was supposed to help her with this fake dating situation, not make her life more complicated.
"I've been thinking".
"Congratulations on that achievement".
Her joke made Fermín smile. She couldn't be feeling so bad if she still joked. "Thanks. So, since people know about this...how about I take you to a match with me?"
"Do you want me to go see you play?"
"Yes, but I didn't mean football. Sorry, I'm a bit nervous right now".
"Why?"
"I feel bad about you being affected by this".
"It's fine, Fermín. It's not your fault. But what do you mean if it's not football?"
"Basketball".
She stopped walking and stared at him. Her mouth was open and he was very confused by that reaction.
"You said you liked basketball...".
"Could you get tickets for a match?"
"I play for their team, kind of. It should be easy".
Fermín didn't know what to call the noise that came out of Lorena but she looked happy. So happy, she hugged him in the middle of the corridor. Not caring who saw them.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! It's been my dream forever".
"Let's make that dream come true then".

"Oh my god, I think I'm going to faint", said Lorena when she sat down and Fermín looked at her worried.
"Why? Are you not feeling well?"
"Willy is right there".
"Who?"
