And...we got to the end of the story! First thing I have to say is THANK YOU ❤️ I have never had this type of engagement for a series from the very beginning. Not even for the ones that now have over 70k reads. So the love for this series caught me by surprise a bit. But what a lovely surprise it was 😍
This story was written in the most random way. I've been working on a Gavi series for too long (hopefully I'll finish it soon) and Fermín is a big character in it. So I guess he was in my writing mind in a way. And then I saw some GIFs a tumblr account dedicated to him made and...they inspired me. I didn't sleep well that night (where are my fellow insomniacs? 😑) and my brain kept working and it created this plot. I then wrote it in just a few days because nothing inspired me more than this series and these characters. I loved every second of the writing experience ☺️
And then I finished it and started to post it. Usually, I've written and posted at least a little imagine for whoever I write for before doing a series about that person. So I had no way to guess how many people craved a Fermín series or if they'd like me to write it because they enjoyed my writing. I had a few comments on my Ferran series Better Half the two or three times Fermín was mentioned but that was about it. So, again, this all came as a surprise.
And it was a joy to see your reactions and to interact with them. I never like to say things like "please like or vote or comment". I feel slightly uncomfortable doing that because I understand some people might not be comfortable doing that and prefer to be silent readers. Just the fact that you spent some of your valuable time reading my silly stories means the world. Many of you won't know this but I write for a living. I'm a journalist and so I need my articles to be read by many and get a good reaction so I can keep my job. It's a pressure I hate but it's part of the job 🤷 so this type of writing I do for fun, I want it to be pressure free. To write whatever I want and just be creative without any limitations.
But obviously, I won't lie and say I don't love seeing so many people leaving comments and telling me how much they're enjoying the series 😅
Anyway. I'll say another big thank you again. You've honestly made me so happy these past few months with the love shown for this Fermín series and...that's why I wrote another one 😉 well, I'm still writing it but it's once again going really well so fingers crossed I can start posting it soon.
I'll just say it's a forbidden love story (which seems to be my favourite trope at the moment 🤭), very different in tone to Not Enough but hopefully you'll enjoy it as much...or maybe more ☺️
