Trevor's POV

I walk through the pack lands, and I look at the tall trees that are surrounding me.

To be honest, I'm one of not many werewolves that actually cares about nature.

And if there wasn't a pack law about making sure that no one will leave mess in the woods, then I'm sure that this place would have looked a lot different.

But I'm happy that it's clean, it also mostly smells like the woods, even though there's an occasional smell of the people who were walking near this path lately.

When I reach a small clearing, I decide that I should sit for a while, even though I didn't intend to stay in the woods for a long time.

I just wanted to go on a walk, but I should have known that I will stay here for a few hours.

I look at the kids who are playing on the other side of the clearing, and I sigh slightly when I realise that I will have to babysit my cousin's kids later.

I just hope that they will decide to behave, because I'm already losing the patience with them, even though I was taking care of them for just a few weeks.

To be honest, I convinced Tyson and Rhett that they should let me babysit their kids, because I knew that this would mean that I will have to stay at my house for most of the day.

Back then, my eldest brother's mate was injured, so I decided that it will be a good excuse to make Valentin move back to our house.

And it worked, but not much later he got pregnant, and my parents gave him his own house, where he lives now, so I guess that it wasn't worth it after all.

But I'm still babysitting the kids, because I actually started to like it, at least as long as the kids are behaving, which isn't their favourite thing to do lately.

A while later, I look at the sky, and I quickly realise that I wasn't sitting here for just a few minutes as I thought.

It was a lot longer, because when I left the house it was an early morning, and now it's a early afternoon.

I quickly stand up, and I start to walk towards my house, hoping that I will get there before Tyson.

I'm not sure what time it is, because I left my phone in my room, since it wasnt charged, but I hope that I won't be late.

When I reach the house, I can see that Tyson is walking towards it from the other direction, and I smile slightly when the kids greet me.

"Hi." I say, and then I take one of them from Tyson's arms, before I talk with him for a while, and then I walk toward the house.

I let the kids stay in the living room, hoping that they will manage to stay alive for a few minutes, while I quickly make myself something to eat.

When I get back to the living room, the kids are silently playing with each other, so I smile, and I sit on the couch.
