Oden's POV
We sit in silence for a long while, and then I sit on the bed next to him, so we can cuddle for a while.
After about an hour, we decide that we should try to run away now, because we can't hear the new guards yet, which means that they're most likely still not here.
"Aren't you going to pack?" I ask him, and he shakes his head.
"I really doubt that it will work, so we should just jump out of the window, and run as quickly as we can.
I really doubt that we will need anything in the woods, I'm sure that you can hunt, and I can help you a bit if you want." He says.
I nod slightly, before I open the window, hoping that the people downstairs won't hear it.
They're pretty loud now, so we have a good chance to get out of here unnoticed.
Trevor goes out first, and I follow right behind him, before we shift and we run toward the pack border, hiding out scent on the way there.
I'm surprised when I realise that we actually managed to reach the border, and Trevor seems to be very happy that we got here.
We kept running beyond the border until we reach a very small cave that might be able to fit the both of us, although I not very sure about that.
We decide to check it out, and it turns out it be a lot bigger than it looked like, so we decide to stay here, since it's starting to get dark outside.
We stay in our wolf forms, and we lay close to each other, while we look at the trees that are in front of the cave.
I really hope that Denver won't find us, but on the other hand, I'm not sure if I want to live out here again.
I like Trevor's pack, and I would have happily stayed there as long as everyone would stop blaming me for killing those kids.
"I'm tired." Trevor tells me thought the mind link, and I look at him to see that he's starting to fall asleep.
I just lick his fur, and then I put my head back on my paws, so I can keep looking outside.
I wish that this cave was hiding us a bit better, but I guess that it's better then sleeping on the ground, even though the stone floor that's under me is saying otherwise.
When Trevor falls asleep, I decide that there's no sense in staying awake.
If a rogue will try to kill us, than we will most likely hear it, and if someone will come to look for us, then I doubt that we will be able to escape anyway.
So, I turn to lay on my side, and I close my eyes, although I can feel that it will take me a while to fall asleep.
I used to sleep in caves, but I already got used to the soft bed, so I guess that it will be hard for me to live in the woods again.
