Oden's POV
I run as quickly as I can and I make sure to not look over my shoulder, because I really don't want to see what's behind me.
I have been sitting on a clearing, where I have stayed for the last few days, and suddenly a pack of rogues came into the clearing.
If it was one rogues, then I would have tried to fight him, because I'm pretty strong, and most of the rogues don't stand a chance against me.
But there were a lot more of them, so I quickly decided that running will be my only chance at surviving.
I hoped that they just wanted to take the clearing that I was staying at, but I was quickly proven wrong, when they continued to chase me.
I was running for the a few hours now, and I already managed to lose a lot of them, because they weren't able to run as long and as quickly as I can.
But there still are a lot of rogues chasing me, although I guess that I would could kill them if I wasn't tired.
I feel like I will fall soon, so I guess that I will have to lose the rest of the rogues as quickly as I can.
A few minutes later, I can smell that I'm running through some pack lands, which isn't good at all.
Because the packs don't like rogues or lone wolfs, especially when they decide to run through their pack without the permission.
But I can't turn around now, because if I will do that, then I have a lot less chances at surviving than if the guards will catch me.
Most of the packs just lock the rogues in the cellars, if they accidently come into their pack lands.
And if they will prove that they didn't want to hurt anyone, then they are allowed to get out.
That's what happened to me a few times, but I also heard that some of the packs don't care what a rogue wants, and if someone comes into the pack lands, then they just kill them.
Not much later, the guards catch us, and I quickly stand behind one of them, hoping that they will see that I'm not with the others.
Two of the guards stay with me, while the other guards kill the rogues who are still trying to run towards me.
One of the guards comes towards me and he tells me to shift back to my human form, so I do that, before he gives me a shirt and short which I put on.
The three guards lead me towards the pack house, most likely so I can talk with the Alpha, and I roll my eyes when I realise that's I will have to talk with another Alpha.
I don't really like them, because most of them are too arrogant, and they tend to quickly annoy me.
To be honest, that's the main reason that I left my pack a few years ago, although back then I thought that I will try to join another pack.
But I never found a pack that's worth joining, so I'm still a lone wolf.
