Oden's POV

Another cut follows right behind the first one, and then another one.

I make sure to grip the table as hard as I can  to make sure that I won't scream, but the feeling of the blood dripping from my back makes me feel sick.

I somehow manage to last through all of the cuts, and when Denver finally tells me that the punishment is over, I allow myself to breathe again.

I whine at the pain when Denver starts of clean the wounds with some alcohol, but to be honest the smell of it is more annoying than the pain at this point.

I don't want to move, but Carter make me do it to allow Denver to bandage to wounds.

I groan in pain because of the movement, and I can feel that the blood starts to get out of the wound again.

Denver quickly covers the wounds with a bandage, and then he helps me stand up, before he covers me with a blanket, and he leads me out of the room.

When we walk outside, I can see that there are a lot more people here now, and I guess that they came here with Carter, but I'm not sure about that.

Trevor, Timmy, Mason, Tyler, Daniel and a few of Denver's brothers are sitting here, and they're looking at me, which makes me feel uncomfortable.

Trevor quickly comes over to hug me, and I hug him back tightly, despite the fact that my back hurts.

"Can I see the wounds?" Tyler asks Denver, but he shakes his head.

"Later, I should take him to the pack hospital now." Denver tells him, and Tyler nods reluctantly.

We walk toward the main room of the pack house, and then we go toward the pack hospital, where the doctor is already waiting on me.

"Are you alright?" Trevor asks me, when we're left alone in one of the rooms.

"I will be fine, it wasn't that bad." I say, and I hug him again.

We stay like this for a while, until the doctor comes back with everything that he will need to stitch my back.

I groan slightly, and he smiles at me apologetically, before he started to stitch my wounds.

When he covers my back with a bandage, I stand up, ready to go back to the house, but before we can leave the room, the alarm starts to ring loudly.

"What's this for?" I ask Trevor.

"Theres most likely a rogue attack somewhere in the pack lands, so we should go to the safe room to make sure that the rogues won't attack us." He tells me with a groan.

I can see that he would like to go back to the house instead of going to the safe room, same as me.

But the both of us decide that it will be better to go to the safe room, and that's what we do.

I can see a few of Trevor's family members, but Trevor ignores them, so I do the same, and we find an empty spot in one of the corners of the basement.
